It's nice to see a channel talking about euroleague basketball. Just informing you that in Europe, superstars coming off the bench is a very common thing. It doesn't matter who starts the game but who finishes it so you see guys like Larkin, Sloukas etc and old legends like Spanoulis, Diamantidis, Navarro came off the bench.

Very very good point. I always thought who is in the court at the end of the game is far more important than starters. I mean starters get minutes... But closers get wins.

@@texasscifi3431 yeah, also sometimes the guys that come off the bench and lead the team play more minutes than the starters. I think the NBA should as well but the players there are Divas that won't accept anything like that, with some exceptions

Beiing a star on euroleague: 1. You have to work as hard on defence as on the offence. 2. It is harder to score in EL than in NBA. 3. Coach is the goat of a team. You shutafuckup and execute. 4. Game is 40min, but timeout is 1 minute long, not 3-4 min like on NBA. 5. You are involved in a team offence on defence every second you spend on court. 15-20 min is the Max what veteran can be productive on court. As soon as you are out of gas, coach will sit you down at the bench. Lets see how NBA stars adopt to that. Anyways, welcome to Europe. We are ready to give you some tongues.

willie cauley stein made a great decision in my eyes. Yes maybe Varese last season finished 12th in italian league, but in actually they were 3rd but sadly got penalized for some money problem and thus finished in the lower rankings, so i think that this year they will be a great team both in italy and europe, because they are playing in champions league which is like conference league.

From a business standpoint, if you notice these players careers end right before the 10 year mark. By doing this the NBA doesn’t have to pay them retirement for life.

Dubai is trying to make its way into Euroleague and in talks with Euroleague for an expansion and maybe Doha will follow up but Saudis really dont care. in soccer they are trying to hold a sport industry in S.Arabia but they wont split their funds for basketball as interest for the game in the country is literally zero.

Man, I am from Varese and I am too young to rememeber about the great days of the Ignis with Dino Meneghin but old enough to remember the title won in 99 with Andrea Meneghin, Poz, De Pol. Now the team has been under the guidance of Luis Scola for a couple of years, we will see if Willy will bring a change. What the team needs is actually a new Arena where to play, the pala Ignis is very old. In any case, a lot of NBA players are moving here because currently the NBA is unwatchable not to mention that the averege american fan has 0 clue about how real basketball works. All you care about is stats "he scored only 5.7 points in 20 minutes...he is trash" maybe said player is a AC Green type of player that doesn't need the ball to actively help the team by placing screens in a clever way, guarding the dangerous player on the other team keeping him away from the ball, creating space correctly...

Going to any other league still won’t save that NBA legacy, granted that one was formed in the first place, but there have been a very small few who defy my unofficial logic. Pretty much I’m saying going to a different league has the potential to damage a legacy. 😅

saying its the kings fault when others have succeeded (Cousins, Fox, I.Thomas, Hield etc) is just silly. you have to want it as a player and those players didnt want it. they wouldnt listen to the coaches.....like for example jimmer thought everyone should listen to him and not the coaches and that the offense should run thru him. also, they wouldnt hustle especially on defense, which made them unplayable in the 4th quarter, so they get pissed and even hustle less. maybe they probably were bummed that the kings drafted them i dunno. but its not the kings fault

Everything I said is pre-fix, the kings have gotta a good thing now, the last 3-4 years I think your team has done amazing and you’re on the way up, I think you will be the #1 seed and I’m rooting for you and Vezenkov

No he wasn’t. Everyone moving to play in Europe would drop everything and go back to America if they were offered a contract. Washed up NBA players playing overseas isn’t new.🤣

@@moegreene3630 Hence why Larkin said no to several offers from NBA teams over the last view years... Top players in Europe earn up to 5 Mio nowadays. Why should they leave for the NBA to earn less? Vezenkov/Micic got payed 20 and 24 Mio on 3 year contracts... they wouldve never left for a measly vet Min contract.

@@Smido83 well some players (like Larkin, who know he sucks in the NBA) will stay because they were never good enough in the NBA to begin with. He’s going to get a nicer contract in another country because his washed up ass is considered good enough to play for some other country.

europe has better player than us ... iq basketball is european and the show is from usa that's it. look at jokic, nowitski, doncic or even gianis for example they play basketball ! they shoot they defend they have the mentality ... the good mentality they are not here to play for money they play for basketball ... I prefer watching euroleague and other european season than nba it's more interesting ;)

What has Kemba Walker done in the NBA, cause if I remember correctly he only stuffed his stats, he hasn't won anything in the NBA, yet he wants to act like a superstar and not come off the bench, he is playing himself😂😂😂
