Going Off Grid EP5 - Shed Bathroom Build - Forme Industrious
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Continuing to set up the Workshop and its facilities. We have a Van on the property with a toilet and shower in it, however that is not the best set up for when we have visitors. Solution: build a Bathroom. We could have made a bathroom anywhere on the block, but we decided to make it inside the shed as it already has a floor and 2 walls. Additionally it will be useful as a workshop bathroom. Where possible I have used reclaimed materials, such as the old Iron Sheets and the Door. The 70 x 30 Pine framing was new. The Shower tray was given to us by someone who was going to throw it out. The size of the area is 2285mm x 1530mm. The walls are 2300mm high. It does not need a roof as we will later put above it a Mezzanine Floor. In the next video I will finish the plumbing, add a sink and perhaps a composting toilet.
I hope you enjoyed the video.
Scott

Nothing better than watching a true craftsman at work. Most of the people on KZread are “wood butcher’s”

Finally!!! A man uses something useful kept in a shed for years! It'll be useful if I never use it - has been used! Miracles do happen. I look forward to that happening in my life with my buckets of screws and nuts n bolts! 😀

Great build, using lots of recycled stuff. I've got my own miscellaneous fasteners collection, which I had finally organized. Then various family members recently dumped about 5 more collections from 5 different workshops on me. All completely disorganized. So it goes. Thanks for posting, and thumbs up!

Hi Scott, I know you can complete every task 110%. Even though you are off grid living, the stove if it is installed inside will have to be installed with copper pipe with your bottle on the exterior. That would then have to be signed off by a licensed qld gasfitter. In your case more for building insurance purposes. No hate with my comment I know you would complete the installation at a higher standard than an average gasfitter. Retired plumber gasfitter here.
