I found that the crappie on this lake are boat shy. The crappie would dive down in the presence of a boat so Spider Rigging doesn't work on this lake. So, I used my Jackson Bluesky Boatworks 360 Angler pedal drive kayak and pedaled backwards at 0.7mph with three lines in front of me (essentially pulling them). I had bobbers on these lines and approximately 3 feet down I had a jig head, grub tail, and tipped the hook with a Berkley Gulp Live Minnow. I had the bobbers approximately 40 feet behind my kayak. The action was insane. There were several times where I would have two rods going off at the same time. Pink seemed to be the color of the day.
