Today was a lot of fun! Wasn't the full limit of keepers I was hoping for but more than thankful for the fish I was able to catch & keep! We will be doing a big catch & cook with all of these filets here soon!

I recently purchased a Zebco Slingshot Spincast for my 4-year-old, as I'm getting back into fishing after a long hiatus since childhood. Could you suggest a spinning reel suitable for a beginner like myself? I'm not particular about the type of fish I catch, as the main goal is to spend time with my son. However, if I need to specify, I'm interested in targeting Crappie, Bass, and Bluegills-smaller fish, generally. My budget is around $50 to $100, and I'm looking for a combo if that's feasible.
