Just de select the ILS frequency Gets you out of APP mode AP remains ON LNAV VS once ALT ACQ then BUG UP retract the flaps and watch that positive rate call because you are actually descending

Great video thanks. I've got a sim check coming up and was just about to try this scenario at home. Also, how do you get that cockpit view?

Apologies, I didn’t get notification that this had a comment. On the older PMDG you click on the PFD and ND which expands them. They were always too small on my monitor to really be of any use. The new PMDG for FS2020 Doesn’t have the facility to do this which is s shame.
