You are awesome. I've just been told by my Dr. that my sugar is elevated. I'm so thankful that I found you. Now when I return to my Dr. in 3 months I will have lowered my sugar using the tools you taught me. Thank you so much
thank you jes, i've overcome my cravings by implementing all of your tips and hacks PLUS i do intermittent fasting since feb 2022. Really effective and no sugar, flour, and carbo craving anymore (even food craving, i eat because i choose to eat, not because of feeling hungry or craving of something) :D
alam mo jessie isa kang hulog ng langit! thank you for doing god's work.
The glucose revolution book is simply fantastic!!! Merci!!!
Thanks to you…. For all contributions in this field.
Thank you for the ACV hack I add a dash of lemon juice as well for taste. I love your attitude towards diet. I follow a low carb / sugar diet but have a weakness towards chocolate so can fully relate to your chocolate icecream breakfast! Keep up the great work
LOVE everything you are sharing! Thanks so So much! I do have one question about exercise I'd like to ask, can you please advise on how to best incorporate exercise and meal time or any other hacks for best glucose control? As you mentioned in an interview that exercise raises glucose levels. Is there a best time to exercise and if there is a way to eat around exercise time to maintain the best glucose control please? Much appreciated xx
Hi Jessie, namaste from India 🙂 Reg the ACV, I've never tried it myself; but this message is to put forth a suggestion that you might find interesting & worth researching. ACV is highly acidic & could be harmful for teeth enamel over long term regular use ? In India, bitter gourd juice is preferred by medical practitioners (not only ayurvedic, but also allopathic) & people with diabetes or IR. Its alkaline. There are myriad ayurvedic preparations of other herbs combined with bitter gourd, but the more common ones are neem & amla. I've refrained from ACV because I'm not sure the effect it might have on my teeth & for others who have similar apprehensions, bitter gourd extract might be an alternative. It also has a blood cleansing effect.
I had always heard about the benefits of apple cider vinegar. I remember buying a book and it was full of all these amazing benefits. It is interesting to hear a very specific and tested benefit. I am going to try it.
Thank you for all the tips.. hoping i can read your book thank you again ma'am
Jessie I absolutely love how simple and easy your hacks are to implement in our daily life. I do have a question! My daughter is a T1 diabetic and I've discovered the method called "Mastering Diabetes". The main idea behind this is that you can consume incredibly large amounts of fruits and veggies but cut out all fats and have very steady glucose levels! The main idea is that fat inhibits glucose absorption. Please let me know your thoughts on this. Thank you❤
Many thanks for the valuable information you've provided.
Muchas gracias por tus investigaciones, saludos desde Concepción en Chile, Sudamérica.
Thank you for all the helpful information
I am so interested in your work. Can you post as a podcast as well?
If find low carb has been working best for me. A1C now down to 5.7. Two meals per day. First one is around noon. I'll have another around 4:00-5:00pm. That's it! I drink water, coffee, herbal teas and unsweetened plant "milks" (cashew milk, almond/cashew milk).
ACV - I start with a spoonful of metamucil, shot of ACV, stir in a pint of water and guzzle it down. about a half an hour before I eat. The metamucil helps with the taste, and adds fiber sugar free. Drinking a whole pint cuts the "starving" cravings. I have a question though. What about Kimchi in the morning. I haven't tried it yet but mild Kimchi is really not that bad and is very much based on cabbage. Although it typically has some sugar.
I have seen you as a guest on many channels very impressed with what I have learned about glucose. I thought I was well versed on glucose, was blown away by all the new information I learned. Thank you very much! I was diagnosed about 6 years ago with type 2 diabetes, in past years my blood sugar with 1500mg a day of Metformin has not gone lower than 162. Will be using information gained from your channel and interviews to see if I can get it down to lower levels.

I’m amazed by changing the order in which I eat food, doing the veggies first and onward has made a big difference and walking as close as I can get to 10 thousand steps (20 minutes for starters, in am after my coffee) and I haven’t even resorted to to the apple cider vinegar yet. Happy to be down 3 lbs in 3 weeks;) feel more level is the best part.
I like the vinegar hack very much but I think that you have to talk about people having to rinse their mouth out after they use the vinegar or have them vinegar in their mouth because it's not good for the enamel

Hi Jesse, I'm currently reading your book and loving it! I have a question about fat. I eat a largely whole-food plant-based diet and the doctors and scientists in WFPB world say that it's fat in the blood and cells which interferes with insulin receptors causing insulin resistance. Can you comment on this, because in your book you say that it's all about sugar not fat. Thanks!
Love you sister!.. Please continue to educate us mere life source humans... I have been so educated by you.. So much nonsense in the world of mis info.... Thankyou my sweety! .. 😊😊X
With regards to implementing a "hack" for a large dinner meal, I would most likely choose a glass of apple cider vinegar or some raw vegetables before the meal, rather than using the food sequence "hack" during the meal, if I understand the food sequence protocol correctly. Suppose I have a plate of mixed vegetables (peas and carrots), chicken and potatoes. If using the food sequence protocol means, I first eat all the peas and carrots then the chicken and finally the potatoes, that would seem very "bland" to me regarding taste, even if each item is "spiced" with herbs or whatever. For me, eating the items "together" (veggies, meat and potatoes) provides a more satisfying taste than eating separately. Thanks again for your great insights!!
Does it need to be apple cider vinegar? Or can it be any vinegar?
I've been doing keto and in gives me too many benefits to mention but the glucose goddess offers so many hacks for my lifestyle
Thank you so much for your wonderful hacks❤
Dear Jessie Thanks so much for your work, I cannot articulate how much it means... but I have the feeling that you get it and I don't have to. I was wondering if you are familiar with the link between glucose and Candida overgrowth? Both the cause and the symptoms are very similar. I am wondering if one should treat the Candida overgrowth first (which involves a strict yet temporary diet), or if balancing your glucose would automatically help candida overgrowth. Any advice would be much appreciated!
I’m glad that this woks for everyone. This never worked for me. The only thing that FINALLY worked for me that helped me with my spikes and insulin resistance was a WFLP DIET . (Whole Foods Low Fat Plantbased Diet. ). But I do love your channel!
Jessie is near perfection!
Hi, I’m so excited to start these hacks! But what if I eat a lot of bowls? How do I eat my veggies first?
Amazing thank you so much !!!
I fiber up in the morning with Chia seeds, and I take two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, and then two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar starting out my day. I lost 45 to 50 lb.
Thank you Jessie. I give slow juice (pineapple and veggies) for myself and my kids, is that just sugar too? I'd really like to know your thoughts on that. Thank you so much.
Hi Jessie, Brilliant research on Glucose. I've been following your presentations on various channels. I have a question which I hope you can help. There is product called Benecol, which is a plant stanol/sterol which helps reduce triglyceride levels and bad cholestrol. It comes in many forms such as a yoghurt drink or in milk products. What is your opinion on this as a substitute if vegetables cannot be present in meals. Personally, I have taken it and saw my triglycerides reduced significantly in 1 month. SIncerely hope to hear from you. Cheers.
Do you recommend berberine. Thank you 🙏
Yellow is your colour for sure❤... Your adorable , amazing, and I'm not even ashamed to say I looooove you 😊😉😍😘😗 thank you for the power ...
I got your book on audible and half way, fantastic work, you say eating veg before carbs, is it ok to eat the veg with oil and cheese on? Or does it have to be plain veg?
I add a tiny squirt of stevia to my Brags apple cider vinegar/water and it really is nice to drink! I have my husband doing it now too! ❤️
My husband and I have been using most of your hacks for a week now ( we haven't changed the diet just the order of foods and I sip vinegar) and my husband feels great. I, on the other hand, started having cravings for sweets, for a week now I have no feeling of satiety after a meal and in the afternoons I am so sleepy and tired that I only dream that it is night already.... I didn't have these symptoms before. I decided to implement your advice because I have a bit of a hormonal problem and in my 40s I started to gain fat, especially in the abdominal area. Can you give me any advice? Thank you and all the best.
I wanted to ask a question about glucose and insulin spikes based on brain activity. Similar to the pavlov dog experiment, how does our body react to the anticipant of food physically? Can our blood insulin spike just with the though of food and does it adjust based on the types of food? Also, is dopamine released in the expectation of the food and could that trigger by just the thought or picture of food?
I've stumbled on this channel while eating a plain white roll (a large one) in the middle of the afternoon. I'm now a subscriber, thank you😊😊😊

Please do not be scared of eating a white roll. There is nothing wrong with it.
Thank you, I really enjoy your videos and I subscribed on your Instagramm channel. I have a question, it is in connection with sport and glucose. When I exercise (mid to high intensity) my glucose levels go up first in the beginning, and then constantly down, which I understand ( assuming I dont take any gels etc). But why are my levels spiking each time after I finished my exercise and go to take a shower afterwards?? thank you very much Jessie
Love this girl.
Do we need to drink the acv 3 times a day if we eat 3 times a day? Thks.
Hi Jessie, I wonder if you read the comments and answer if I ask you a question. I know the order of things I did know it before, but in my country we do not eat things in this order we eat them all together. So, say I would eat on a single plate, meat, vegetables, carb: potato or rice or pasta, and salad unless it's a creamy dish. We often eat gherkins which are made with vinegar, or other things we put into jars in the summer so we can have them for the winter, although we happily eat them summertime as well, it is not always fresh salad we eat with the dish. My question is, what do you say about this? If these things get mixed and go down in the stomach mostly all at the same time.
Thank you for your content! I have read The Glucose Revolution. Is the South Beach Diet sufficient in your mind to controlling glucose? I’d like to know your thoughts on SBD.
This is interesting!
Thanks Jessie. There is an Italian product called "Mazzetti Organic Apple Cider Vinegar - Honey and Ginger". The good thing is that it makes the vinegar so much more palatable, thus I am taking my ACV more regularly. But it contains 9% organic honey, I presume 9% by volume. Do you believe that this product would significantly effect benefits of ACV?

How is apple cider vinegar different from red wine vinegar or white vinegar? Why is there a difference?
Can we do the vinegar hack for all 3 meals ?
What glucose monitor would you suggest?
Will endame work as a vegetable???

Good one.
What glucose monitor? Is it a device that measures blood sugar level in mmol/L?
also glass of red wine betwen or before meal works? it is got acids
What about other types of vinegar?
I had to type two diabetic. Is there a good bread that won’t raise your sugar a lot or should I just stay away from it?
How much carbohydrates do you eat in a day? Just wandering, thanks 🙏.
@glucosegoddess - Jessie, I hope to get this question to your attention: I have been putting your advice into practice for a few days, and I feel more balanced, but also slightly depressed. Could it be because dopamine levels are being adjusted along with the glucose levels, resulting in a relatively low feeling, compared to when I regularly ate a lot of fruit (I'm a vegetarian) and experienced huge spikes?
I'm trying something new recently. As far as I know, nobody on youtube is talking about this eating strategy: I'm eating two meals a day, the first at 8 am and the second at 8 pm (just an example). This allows me to have two gaps of 12 hours between my fed states, and it divides equally the day of 24 hours into half post-prandial state and half post-absorptive state. I know that's not enough to start ketosis or gluconeogenesis or autophagy, BUT is enough to bring down my insulin and use a large part of the glycogen stored in liver and muscles, so that at the next meal I'll be more insulin sensitive because I'll have some space to store it away from the bloodstream, avoiding it from going straight into my fat tissue and any insulin/glucose spike. Does it make any sense? Basically I'm skipping lunch and all kinds of snacks between meals. It's very easy and allows me to work/study during the day without distractions and I can even use my hypothetical "lunch break" to take a walk or workout. I've chosen this method because I was afraid of certain doctors/scientists saying that for females hormones it's not so good to fast for more than 14 hours a day. Greetings from an Italian girl who is dealing with acne and irregular cycle :)

I think your on to something. I would wear a continious glucose monitor to see how you are doing halfway between meals? Im an old half italion that thrives on intermittant fasting followed by high protein in first meal about 2-3 pm . Ciao! I drink 2 tablespoons exrtra virgin olive oil first thing before coffe in morning which takes all hunger away till afternoln even working hard labor.
does kombucha work like applecider veigar
Are there specific types of ACV you recommend?

Hi! You can use the vinegar you prefer; all of them work because all of them have acetic acid :) Just avoid the balsamic syrup one; it's full of sugar.
Awesome
What is the first thing I can have in the morning before I can prepare breakfast on empty stomach
Bravo
Thank you Jessie for your great insights, "hacks" and "simple" guidelines associated with eating sequences and food combinations ("dressing")! I was surprised though that in one of your talks you mentioned oatmeal by itself would generate a high "blood sugar spike". Years ago, I had read up on using the glycemic index values for various foods as a guide for what to avoid and what should be "fine" regarding blood sugar spikes. High glycemic index would yield high blood sugar spike. Depending on the type of oatmeal I choose, such as steel cut oatmeal, it's glycemic index is only around 42, which is classed as low. Any GI score above 70 is high. Help me understand why I would need to "dress" steel cut oatmeal (mind you I do like dressing my oatmeal anyway) to avoid a high blood sugar spike. Thank you Jessie for making your insights/knowledge "simple" and not complicated!

You don't need to "dress" steel cut oats but it tastes better with some nuts and seeds and even if you make it with some milk you'll reduce the overall amount of sugar.

I am completely perturbed... why blond? I she really the same goddess who produces these superb videos? 😀😀 Anyway, I love her for the pragmatic approach and simple & comprehensive explanations.
Is there a research based data or publication that support Apple cider vinegar really cut the absorption of carbs by 30%?
In the morning I have started to eat some kind of vegetables first…spinach, cucumbers, mixed greens or a vegetable salad with several different vegetables. This has helped me to feel more satiated for at least 4-5 hours. 🥬🥳🥬
What about Isabgol (psyllium husk)?
You are very gorgeous❤❤❤!
What about fig vinegar
What do you think about coffee? I noticed you said you didn't need it in the Mark Hyman interview. I'm struggling with it. I love it. I have a cup in the morning but I think it restricts blood flow too much to my brain and I get headaches. Its a tough habit for me to quit. Got any tips?
@simongarner5340

Try black or green tea and see if the headaches abate. And heck yeh coffee is a hard one to quit. That said, quitting one should be easier than quitting 2 or 3 a day.
Thank you, i watched most of your videos, very interesting, an eye opener, I have a 'stupid' question, is sugar in body scrubs harmful?
I wonder... Can sugar free kombucha work similarly to the vinegar? 🤔
Is there anything else besides ACV I can use? Unfortunately, I cannot drink it.
