I just retired after 35 years of nursing as an RN. Those trauma shears are Iike my right arm. I use them at home too. The ones that are just a bit more pricy are really the best. I love this idea. I know you usually do tumblers. These are not my particular interest, so I'm respectfully requesting that you consider doing other resin projects. I would subscribe for that.

Can you show how you applied your layers of resin after the glitter? And how many layer? ❤️🤞
Curious what else can I use if I don't have the sanding paper? I have a nail file and a nail drill that has the sandpaper kind of attachment. Would those possibly work? The one you have in your Amazon store is out til Jan 6th 😪
I am thinking I will do a pair using a white or pale fine glitter as a base then place the puzzle piece shape glitter randomly scattered. (Autism awareness) you could do this with any of the shaped glitters that are small enough to fit without poking out around the curves
Those are so pretty, do you think this would work with several thin coats of 2 part resin without putting them on a turner?

If you did super thin coats that wouldn't drip then it might work
How would you make the glitter on the scissor with crystal lack... brite tone???? Please and thank you!!!!

I've never used Brite Tone but I would imagine you would probably need to spin it like you would a tumbler. You could probably take a pool noodle and put the scissors in the pool noodle and attach it to your Turner to spin the scissors that way.
There’s another girl made these awhile back and craft scissors as well.
Would you do the same method if you added a name to them?

Yep! You would just add a name then seal it in with another coat of the UV Resin 😊
You should absolutely be using appropriate PPE equipment. Wonderful tutorial, though!

Every time I use UV resin it always tachy. Like I can put ut under the light for minutes at a time still tachy. What am I doing wrong?

@@melissawright2799 ooh ok.. that may be part of the issue. I've tried other brands in the past that stayed tacky. The brand I used has been my favorite so far.
Can you use any scissors

Yes you should be able to use any scissors as long as you can use the same process. 😊
