Deon Thomas, Rennie Clemons, Andy Kaufman, Kiwane Garris and Frank Williams were some of my favorites guys on the Illini👍🏾👍🏾

You didn't mention that first dunk on Ostertag put him at 30 points IN THE FIRST HALF!!! At least that is my recollection, and not even gonna google it to verify. One thing that was so great about college basketball back in the day with all the great players was that you could really appreciate how good a player was in relation to the other college players, e.g. a man among boys. For me Glenn Robinson was the best college player I ever saw.

Very true My brother!! I forgot about the 30 in the half. Probably because I was so disappointed in the regional final lost to Grant Hill and Duke.
