Giant Pumpkin Time Lapse.wmv
Ғылым және технология
This video was made using The TimelapseCam 8.0 from a company called Wingscapes. It took one photo every 30 minutes (during daylight hours) from June 21st when it was pollinated until September 8th when it was harvested. The Pumpkin weighed in at 405 pounds.
I messed up a bit. The Pumpkin was hidden by leaves for the first month and then I missed a good chunk of August because the memory card wasn't pushed all the way into the camera. Watch for a special visitor at about 2:25

Nice video. I'm starting to dabble in time-lapse and it's a lot of fun.
Beautiful! I had an invasion of garden gnomes in my garden last year too :-)
I too loved the music. Love the gnome. Terrific video. Have you ever heard the old wives tale where they injected pumpkins with syringe and milk in it?? Haha Thanks you....Miss Jeri
Love it! Thanks for posting this so I could show my son how pumpkins grow.
My pumpkin is currently at 325 pounds! I don't think it will get quite as big as yours. Good job man!
Great loved the gnome. Nice work and idea.
The seeds was planted inside in April and transplanted into a temporary green house outside in May. I have a bigger pumpkin growing right now that has an estimated weight of 515 pounds and is still growing. I have had the timelapse on it from the time I planted the seeds so you can see the whole lifespan of the plant. I will be taking the Pumpkin to the fair on September 6th and I will have a timelapse of that one to view shortly thereafter.
Great video, like the touch of humor. My son wants to grow big pumpkins this year, we'll see how that goes.
Mother Nature totally rules. Great video!
Look at that soda can grow!
Great video and great music - it's Debussy - Arabesque No.1 by the way!

Great eye! So funny
well chosen sound track for the time lapse.

How in the heck did you keep your foliage so lush and green. Mine always seems to surcume to diseases within a month. Do you by change live west of the Rocky Mountains? Certain bugs supposedly don't live west of the mountains. The squash vine borer.
When did you plant them?!
A few second before 1:30 I saw someone run over and drop the pumpkin there..
I love pumpkins because there orange and orange is my favorite color
Wow, that's 184 Kg!
Yeah, that was so cute.
This pumpkin is so big.I hope you can grow a 2000 Pound pumpkin.
I was disillusioned the first time I saw some giant pumpkins at a county fair in 1981 because they were so deformed. Of course all the really huge ones are. They're not nice and symmetrical like the ones sold in supermarkets for Halloween.
2:29 Oh look! the roaming gnome stopped by to take a look!
How was this grown? I want a 400 pound pumpkin in 4 months!
did anyone see the romeing knome?
Офигительно!
awesome plant. when did the 30 minutes happen?
I have no clue why i just watched a pumpkin time lapse video
Did anyone else see the little garden gnome stroll through starting @2:29?
was it tasty?
I am supposed to show humans how I'm swelling but this one leaf keeps blocking the view
