Glad keith was showing respect for Captain Jake.

Jacob is seriously lacking in some important areas. Doesn't seem to understand that when you're a deckhand, there's an order to things and yelling at a Captain and making bs excuses isn't going to do you any favors if you're trying to make name in the industry. All these guys know one another and word travels fast.

Jacob has to remember one thing the captains word is law on his boat! 😳

I can't really justify this because he clearly has a bit of an anger issue, but I've always figured Kieth is the smartest Captain of the bunch. Seems like a very sharp guy.

Keith can be an a** and the entire show audience dislike him, but there is no doubt he gets the job DONE and seriously knows his stuff as captain. There is a reason he has stood in the business for so long with only his brother (Monte Colburn) as captain in the bairdi season, where he is also the best captain in the fleet consistently pulling off the best numbers. The Colburn brother can have some of the worst boats to work on the fleet, but it is a matter of fact they always have been regarded as some of the biggest catches and most knowledgeable captains.

Jacob is just buying time in his sincerity for his own results, therefore bypassing discipline and hard work. Resulting in lack of respect of others and creating divisions for any gain, including his.

I know why Jacob has a problem with authority…

Sorry this has to be somewhat staged. Just a coincidence jake and Keith were talking to each other at the same time jacob was close enough to hear their conversation? Also why would he go up the stairs to the wheelhouse then out the back door when he could have just gone on deck and flicked him off? This seems to be all tv. This show used to be more of a documentary now they have to manufacture drama otherwise there would be nothing new to show
