The Natural Way to Draw by Nicolaides Kimon is my favorite drawing book. He teaches something like this. I like this way.

Fiona Prior the study is made in black and white acrylic. my book, drawing and painting the nude covers a lot more. many thanks snd happy drawing

The first drawing was made with a black acrylic wash and a graphite stick. The second one with thick willow charcoal. Thanks for asking
