Gernge Quick Tips - Redshift UV Projection Node | Cinema 4D Redshift
This quick tip is an introduction to the UV Projection Node in Redshift, using Cinema 4D. It's a really powerful node that allows us to manipulate things like Gradient Ramps or Textures in either World Space or Object Space. Since this is done through a node, it means that multiple Projection Nodes can exist in a single shader, unlocking some really powerful opportunities when it comes to texturing objects, without the need for UV Unwrapping.
This information should apply to Redshift in other DCCs.

happy to hear that! glad you find it useful
Now you can also do that with vertex color tag
Thx for sharing, very useful. I'm just struggling with the planar projection when scaling an object. Any tips on how making it stick. Thx

i dont have any special tricks or advice for that, when scaling an object + using a UV projection. sorry about that!

Yes, that's really bad. It is world base positioned, that's the problem. Should have a tag to freeze it. Honestly, shading inside C4D is a waste of time, get used to Substance Painter and be happy. Problems are gone.
