Probably because a lot of the people you are seeing are volunteers who were issued hard hats on site that were donated by companies in George. Don't make comments when you don't have the facts.

No one should perish in such incidences. Our prayers are with them 😢 but I do hope that this incidence can expose the reality that 90% or so of construction workers are illegal immigrants

According to the law of this country Foreign nationals must only be hired in positions of scarce skills. Not general labour..... Furthermore, it must only be legal foreigners allowed, not millions and millions of illegal aliens

Yes but the general unskilled labour of this country who are not immigrants are not worth the pay they want... because they are so lazy and drunk permanently. These people are not in this situation due to "bad labour" but due to corrupt construction mafia - builders taking shortcuts to cut costs and site engineers not doing their jobs!

Yep... DA companies who deliberately avoide hiring South Africans... Exploiting foreign nationals. I promise you, 90% or so of construction workers are illegal foreign nationals being harboured by companies run by people with hatred of black South Africans
