Ah spring!! Everything is coming to life again and it's so lovely to be outdoors exploring the beauty Mother Nature shares with us. I love creating with earthy colors and this week's painting combines my love of nature with my appreciation for neurographic art (my way ;) ). Whether you're new to painting or you've been doing this for a while, I hope you'll find this creative process inspires you to pick up your brushes and get painting.

What a smart idea to put in a raised garden, and to protect it from the wild life; I've never seen that before! 🥔🥬🥒 I get so excited, when on a rare occasion, I see a deer pass through my yard! 🦌 I love animals so much! Thank you so much for being here with me Lori ❤️ I love wildlife too! The deer are so shy usually, but they sometimes come as a family and munch on our clover ☺️ Lately, we’ve had porcupines around, even during the day. I was able to catch Garou before he pounced on another one the day before yesterday 😱and last night, one was in our front yard when Garou and I went outside for his before bed routine. Sadly, this means Garou is more on leash than he and I both prefer him to be. But, better safe than sorry. I am so happy you’re continuing to enjoy my videos 😊 This week I’ll also be sharing a few pics from our vacation last week. ❤️ you’ll get to see the south coast of New Brunswick (Canada). 😉 My painting was inspired by all the beauty we saw 🥰 I hope all is well with you sweet friend ☺️ Lots of love heading your way 💕🤗

@@gabrielleannacormierart I've never seen a porcupine in real life! Garou definitely needs to avoid getting hurt by one again! We have a possum and a racoon that like to pass through our yard sometimes, I worry about Lexi encountering them. Ohhh I look forward to your vacation pictures, and painting! I'm glad you got to get away! I hope your body isn't feeling too bad in this heat. We hit 100 degrees today, and now have thunderstorms. It's way too early for this kind of heat, and it is also very humid. Thank God for air conditionering, I am a wimp when it comes to the heat. 😂 "See" you tomorrow my friend! 😊💞🤗

@@love2create62 100 😳🥵 I am a wimp when it comes to the heat too 😂 88 and I want to crawl into a little cave and hide 🤣 I was happy to be away for 97 last week 🙏🏿 My sweet spot is around 72 so spring and fall our now my faves ☺ Oh goodness! Raccoons can be tricky and not very fearful - I once tried chasing one away from a distance by doing my best fencing moves with a broom - it looked at me like I was entertaining (as I'm sure I was) and just continued trying to access my garbage bin 😂 Possums we don't have here - do they not just lay down and play dead? Well, I guess, that wouldn't necessarily be better for a curious dog either. Wouldn't it be fun if life was like a Disney movie and all the animals just got along? 😂

So geological, it looks like you struck gold! I love the gold you chose for this, and I also just have to say I so look forward to Wednesday's whether I just watch or "try" to create my own. I do love the geological paintings! It is amazing how such beautiful textures emerge from repeated layers with salt. I like the more muted gold effect too. Glad to hear that you are feeling brighter and refreshed. Meditation and mindfulness help me too. I have a labradorite stone that I like to focus on..the colours in it are mesmerising. I must try to paint it one day! I wish you a calm week with lots of good sleep 😊 B xx💫💙

I really enjoyed this particular video. The colours are definitely calming, and the technique with the salt doing its own thing is so fascinating. It reminds me of rock, pebbles and stones that all have their own striations.

I love the rounded corners in neurographic art. I think they ad a dramatic or frivolous touch to an abstract painting.

Loved this! I love neurographic art. I ordered 3 items from your list. I've been dying to get my hands on the dot pen❤. Have you ever tried Baohong watercolor paper? It's my go to because Arches is so pricey. People compare Baohong to Arches all the time.
