We were delighted to have Geoff Newman share his memories of The Avanti Motor Corporation with us before his passing. Leo Newman, Geoff's father, alongside his business partners revived the Avanti brand under the name Avanti II after the close of Studebaker.

I worked for Geoff and Leo while a college student in the 1970's. You couldn't find any nicer people than the Newman family. Great speech!

Sad to hear of Geoff's passing...an incredible man who touched so many lives in a positive manner. This account of how his father and Nate Altman kept Avanti alive after Studebaker pulled the plug is must viewing for aficionados who never stopped believing. I hope SNM adds more photos and video to this important documentary. Thanks, Geoff for telling one of the greatest stories of all time!

Glad you enjoyed it! The photos were those that Geoff picked out and wanted to include in the video. We can certainly see how would could share similar content for other parts of the Avanti story though.
