Extending dog lifespans definitely needs to be on the shortlist of the first things Artificial Intelligence needs to solve. 25 year old rottweilers, bullmastiffs, etc…………yes please!

Our last English Mastiff passed at 12 y/o...Our current one is almost 9, and you can see the old man in him now.

From my experience, bigger dogs are usually the most gentle, sweetest dogs.

So sad that the big dogs don't live as long as small dogs.

Big dogs are great. Most of them are truly gentle giants.

Yes, The bullmastiff can give her some hugs and cuddles.

Oh he is just so wonderful. Snuggle monster. Yes. Yes. Yes.

He is gorgeous. And such a sweet baby. You are so lucky to be his mom!

He's got the most gentle and expressive eyes. Beautiful pup!

Meech is a "I Fits I Sits" kinda fella.

Meech is BEAUTIFUL ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL......I LOVE HIM!

That's my dream, just a giant dog who loves hugs and cuddling. My girl is pretty big and she loves to cuddle but there's just something so fun about a huuuuge dog who doesn't realize he's big.

I had a female Bull Mastiff and she was the very best dog I ever had. Sweet, gentle and loving personality. Always had very small dogs before her but IF I ever get another dog, it would be that breed. Losing her was too painful.

@nonna, agreed. Lost my bully at age 7. He was the best thing that ever happened to me, but losing him ripped me in half. Will always adore this breed, but I can't go through that again.

Giant puppers are the best. My Great Dane, Otis, was the biggest love bug. Most people just reacted to his size, he was about 180 pounds, but once they took a moment to pet him, they couldn't help but love him.

He's absolutely beautiful, !🐾💝

There are no bad dogs, only bad owners and I can tell from watching this he's just a big baby :)

We have a pit bull who has a little mastiff in her. She's 100 lbs and very tall. People often back away or won't come near here because of her looks and size. But she's just like Meech. She LOVES everybody she meets and wants to hug and give kisses. She's the sweetest dog ever, lives with two cats (who rule) and likes it when the neighbor's little ones flop on top of her. She just smiles and wags her tail. EVERYBODY is her friend as far as she's concerned. She has a little stubbornness in her too but is generally a very obedient dog. We love her like crazy.

The food bills must be tremendous.....but so is the LOVE...💖 (the love outweighs the investment.)

My Bullmastiff ate 10 cups of kibble a day plus around 8 oz of meat plus treats. But it's actually the vet bills that are really expensive. Drugs are priced by dosage & a 165 lb dog gets very expensive sized doses! Just his yearly vaccinations were about $800!

@@joelhansen7373 I had a black lab back in the '93. We lived in a low lying forest in Maryland...and of course he got heartworms....the vet bill was $400 X 2 treatments....back then!!! And Now charging treatment by the pound? I can see the day of "Doggy Health Insurance" coming... Vet bills are getting as expensive as health care for a child.

Now that is proper size dog.

My best friend had an english mastiff named Zeus. Though he never realized how big he was, he was the sweetest and most loving dog I ever had the pleasure to know. RIP buddy

I sure miss both of my English Mastiffs! The greatest dogs I have ever owned!!! Never needed a fence, they learn your property and most have no need to ever wonder off…😂❤❤❤ girl weighed 182 and boy little over 200lbs.. both lived 10 years.

Meech is just a big hero of a dog.

Mastiffs are one of my top favorite breeds.

I also have a Bullmastiff. Not quite as big as Meech but just as much a massive cuddle bunny whose only threat to human life is her drool. It’s the tiny ankle biters like dachshunds and so on with their little ‘person’ syndrome who can be the aggressive ones. Meech is marvellous 🩶

I grew up with a bullmastiff when I was a toddler to when I was in elementary school. He was good to me and he never hurt me

Absolutely love Bull Mastiffs. They seems to be one of the sweetest, cuddliest breeds around - when raised well. I've always had a soft spot for massive cuddly breeds like this, St. Bernard, etc. So sweet. 😍🐶❤

I owned a BullMastiff. His name was Cooper. Big dumb baby. He topped off one time at 172lbs, but usually ran around 169lbs. Loved Rediwhip

What an absolute muffin, a treasure of a boy that I would squishy-squish and love every second of the day. But I think their origins are English mastiff and the extinct Olde English Bulldog.

He is good sized for sure, but he seems, as his human friend says, to be a good and gentle dog. He is pretty cool.

When I worked at Petsmart, the big dogs were far more likely to be lovers than the small dogs.

He's so 🥰 cute....I used to have an English Mastiff. I rescued him at 60kg and he was 95kg when back in proper shape. He was the most gentle dog you could ever meet. I miss him.

I had a Bull Mastiff as a nanny when I was a baby. She was trained by my RSM dad, in English and Housa, just for fun. She taught me to walk apparently. I would crawl and topple about. She would nudge me with her huge head (28 inch neck, 120lbs) I would make a grab, jowls, ears, neck, she didn’t care, then she would gently lift me up onto my feet, and off we would go, slowly, slowly... My father adored her and never got over the loss of her. He could never face another dog after that. The pain was too much. 💚☘️🐾

Lucky you. I had three bullmastiffs growing up and they were all like Meech. Very sweet yet a tad stubborn. So I have a huge soft spot for the mastiffs. Cuddle your Dogue de Bordeaux for me.

He's a big sweet pup. The most non aggressive dogs in the world.

Meech is not intimidating!! He is COMPLETELY AWESOME!! It's good to see a dog as friendly as Meech is!! Just to get a BIG HUG from him is just PRICELESS!! Love to see Meech love everyone else!!

He's a velcro! It's incredible the Gentle giants are such cuties. We have 2 great Danes who are velcro's also, and It was good to see the stubborn streak in Meeck. My Laverne has that same streak when it comes to taking a walk, why leave the yard and the house with all it's comforts and foods! Enjoy the Meech he's a beautiful one!

My girlfriend got a Mastador puppy (Mastiff and Black Lab cross) a few months ago, she didn't realize exactly what that was till we noticed how fast he was growing, how at 6 1/2 months he's as big as my 4 yo German Shepherd, but he's a big sweetheart who loves pets and cuddles, but watch out for his tail, he'll get happy and clear the coffee table, or beat you across the thighs with it, lol
