He started acting at a young age. He played the lead role in Oliver on stage. He also had bit parts in films like A Hard Day's Night and Hook, most of his parts were cut though. The talent never left though, as his live performance demonstrate.

well..i remember this gig..me and a couple of mates..got in from walking at the rear of the park thru a hole in the fence got backstage!! crazy crazy night..spent most of it up on the scaffolding right above chester thompsons kit..never ever forget it..apparently only 2 arrests one of em my good ole buddy...a.... milne..rock on hitchin massive!!!!!! .

I love this, this is Phil at his absolute mocking best and it's so good to watch. While this was the band's swansong really, it's great to hear.

@@poptartdrumstudios7600 Not at the moment, but maybe in the future with help from younger musicians, for example Simon Collins or a lineup a bit like Mike + The Mechanics' where some of the members are significantly younger. Some people have rumoured that they might be talking about something currently because they recently met up, the three of them, to a game. And their KZread channel has started promoting older stuff in new ways which is... Interesting. Maybe something is up. Only time will tell. I mean, they are getting pretty old and it's going to make touring harder but it's not impossible I guess. But yes oh how I am bummed out that they don't tour, haven't toured for 13 years. :S
