Gearing up - GoPro Deep Water Test
Tested the GoPro rig down to 50 feet mounted to the side of a cable mounted camera and monitor system. Always looking for some unique footage for the show.
Not much visible at 50 feet at 7pm, but we did spot what I'm pretty sure is a Lake Trout at 35 feet, and some Smallmouth Bass at 25 feet.
We're getting excited for our first episode to get online hopefully by end of September.

Pretty sweet rig! Nice to see that laker! Water must be getting cold for them to be up that high! I am headed up to Temagami for Thanksgiving...hows the bite these days?
@ShutUpAndFishCanada Was out a couple weeks ago for pike in Cliff Lake and got two really nice ones, but it was a bit slower. I find fishing tends to slow after the second week of September, plus I don't get as much time to go out and fish with work getting busy in the fall. One of our customers came back in this weekend from a fishing trip and they did really well. Crazy thing about this video was it was middle of summer when I took it - didn't expect to see trout... A happy surprise!
