I found it .What he said was cricketing fraternity over the world was hurt when match fixing happened , now also as ball tampering has hurt , it has not only hurt Australian cricket but also cricketing fraternity.I don't see that same as headline .Media likes to read between the lines ,it is not feasible to believe media statements

Where did he say more or equal , you are interpreting that way , so is the media.

I see it very harsh on these players, we are calling them cheating, if a batsman nicks and doesn't walk even that is cheating too, when someone claims a dropped catch isn't it cheating, remember Sydney test 2008 ponting and Clarke were center of it. Yes, they deserved some punishment for the wrong doing but banning for a year is too harsh.. Feel for smith.

Indian cricketers having match fixing charges do punditry and commentaries freely without anyone bashing them

Was Jonty praising behaviour of people in India or was just making a fun of us? I guess the later. “Indians are enjoying the time they have Ozs under their heels. Back in SA, there is nothing much. Cricket has moved on.” But anyways I agree with him. Real Indian he is.

This is beyond comprehension. All three (Smith, Warner and Bancroft) are batsmen. Is CA saying that the fast bowlers (for whom the ball tampering is done) did not know about this? It is clear that CA is going soft on those who have not been caught on this. Because these three were clearly in the fault and their pictures beamed live, CA had to take action to salvage some reputation. The actions have been taken not because the Australians are really apologetic, but because they got caught. The sanctions are not for the act, but for the stupidity. After all Nakal mein bhi Akal Lagti hai.

Googlie Googlinkty Enough and stop overreacting about it.When FAF was found guilty of ball tampering twice in his career,was he banned??No.Both the times he was just charged 100% of his match fee and was allowed to play.Why did ppl forget about such incidents??Simply bcuz FAF is not an Aussie.Imagine if Smith had done the same thing as FAF did.Smith would have recieved the same amount hate he is receiving now bcuz ppl have that wrong misconception that only Aussies cheat and no one else does which is untrue.Even match fixers don't get life bans so better display your hypocrisy somewhere else

ohh plz stop it.. u know what do u mean by life ban.. they don't deserve a life ban.. a couple of months ban at most.. and i know they will by cricket australia.. but for all reason i feel that smith is the one who is suffering the most.. i dont think he devises the plan by himself.. its just he agrees to it and as captain he has to take responsibility .. david warner or darren lehmann looks like the one who is actually the mastermind of the recent activities including the brainfade moment in india
