So when they say there is a "fortress position", they're agreeing the passed pawn won't make it and that white doesn't have a realistic attack on the black king?

Jared G Essentially yes. A fortress means on side has no way to break down the other. The computer says 0.00 A total draw in all sensical variations.
I can understand Nakamura was not too happy after the game. he played very actively to get a game going after the dull opening and almost managed to win. but Kamsky would not play dull if he did not get away with it,
Here's a question for you kc: who's your favourite player active at the moment?
