Good video that covers one set of burners sparking and the other set not. Mine is a GE JGP319. One igniter serves the back burners, one the front. The front burners weren't igniting. I could see there was no spark from that igniter. I could also see that the ground point on the igniter mounting bracket was covered in grease. The spark is supposed to go between the igniter and that point. I removed the mounting bracket, cleaned the grease off that little point, reinstalled, and now it works. Zero cost. (I also carefully cleaned the point on the igniter itself using alcohol.)
Great video. Now I can help my friends get their GE Profile cooktop back up and running!

Thank you! How do you know is the best support issue? And not the lighters?
Here's one for you...I have an old Caloric gas stove (propane). After I use the oven, and it is still hot, none of the top burner spark units work (I have to use a match to light). Once the oven is back at room temp, the top burners light as they should. I have replaced the spark module, wires, ceramic spark components, and I have added addition ground wires. Nothing I have done corrects that issue. Any thoughts?

I think i broke something in the valve bc i couldnt get it to turn.. finally got it but now its super loose and clicks but i cant hear the gas starting at all. All the rest work
Would have rather you tried a new igniter first.
none of igniters, spark . will light if use cigarette lighter
