I love interviews like this man. GP and KG are living legends
Payton entered the league in 1990. By 93' he was in the conference finals and every year after the Sonics were considered a team that could win it all. That's sustained excellence. This is why I loathe this new way of thinking that "so and so didn't win right away in the league." Back then you got to a team, strapped up your boots and grew that team to perennial contender status. Anybody can have immediate success if they're jumping from team to team every other year.
Glove and Ticket always put a smile on my face man 😂🙏 Nothing but love !!

As. Celtics fan.... ll love kg... thank u for ll you did to get where u are and continuing to give back to the game/people.. I cN spen from experience that you carried yourself with a fire and gave it your all.. helped inspire me in my life in a indirect way kind of in my life in general. So thank you for that, I know it's slim to none you'll ever read this, but had to let that one go from the bottom of my heart. Everyone walks with some type of disadvantage, or something working against them, atleast at some point or always in life. So having you as one of Mt all time favorite basketball ayers, and how on the court u guys rode hard for the team and rhe guys with green on your back..... idk, can't describe it in the right way but thank u for the great moments and Watchung you play while always showing drive in you that goes way past the court. It's plain to see. Great episode guys!!! Truly!!!

My God! Forever my favourite duo on the court. I was praying for a moment where both my favourite players would play together in the league an not only at the olympics. they would have ripped the league. Domination!

Two of the best story tellers from the NBA that they’ll ever have.
I dream of the of seeing GP getting his number retire and then coaching the first game of a Seattle SuperSonics expansion team
