Garden stroll through the land of gargantuan Hostas & glorious Viburnums
It's a beautiful morning for a garden stroll (unedited and without plant labels, sorry!). Join me to see the gargantuan hostas and all the lush growth that is very happy about all the rain we've had lately. Viburnums are amazing right now, the ostrich ferns are still growing and the birds are singing.

Gorgeous, thanks for sharing your beautiful garden, I agree Just get them up 💚🌿🍃. My take away is what I have said before……PLANT TAGS LIE. What you plant in sun would burn here,I watched another video from Northern California she had verbena and petunia in dappled shade 🤦🏻♀️. I am in 7a in the SOUTH

Erin, thank you for sharing your beautiful morning and garden! I love your garden strolls and really appreciate your authenticity. I also have piles of weeds that I have pulled sitting around on my lawn and you just made it OK. Thank you and keep doing what you’re doing!
I personally 100% prefer un-edited format. Its like having a friend walk you through their yard and give you a garden tour. Very enjoyable!! Thanks and please keep making them!
I enjoy your channel so much. I feel like you are a knowledgeable neighbor spreading helpful hints about your garden. I find myself moving away from a couple of garden channels that I have watched for years because they have turned into an online store with garden info as an after thought. You are more real than most. Keep up the interesting channel, walks through your garden, etc. I find it very refreshing. Thank you.

I agree. We don't need infomercials, just good gardening advice. The best products I have purchased were when vloggers state, "... and this is not sponsored". I don't mind sponsors, as long as the youtuber really, really recommends and endorses the product.
Dorothy’s face was priceless. Love her attitude in the morning. Garden was beautiful, as always.
"I did plan this and it works." Serious props, Erin. Gorgeous!
Love this format! Thank you for giving up your Sunday morning! No editing needed! Keep up the good work! Everything is beautiful.
Your ferns and hostas. . . WOW! Love your beautiful gardens. Thanks for sharing it with us!
This format is perfect. Gotta love Dorothy. She has a cat attitude, in or out, or out or in.
It’s amazing to see how the garden changes from week to week, and continues to remain beautiful. Thank you, Erin, for taking us on these strolls.
“Being able to see so many different flowers in one place is truly healing.”
Love love love these Sunday garden tours! Your gardens, like your videos, are REAL & refreshingly honest, and as a result feel attainable. Thank you! 👏👏👏
Everything looks Amazing, Erin! Great job. And you know what? Who needs editing with a great personality and beautiful background! Just love when I see a new video from you! No pressure though 😅❤
Beautiful! I appreciate you posting more videos. Love seeing the garden progress from week to week, Fancy editing not needed.
I also like the mystery of hanging branches unless of course they’re always hitting me in the face. 😊💐💚🙃
I agree the ghost fern is absolutely beautiful
I just usually just mow over my weeds after I’m done weeding the edges of the garden.🤣💐💚🙃
I REALLY like where the big blue hosta is planted. I think for some reason it’s the year of the hosta, mine are doing exceptionally well this year. 💐💚🙃
I'm loving these unedited garden tours, Thank you for keeping your channel so real.
Lovely to visit with you, Erin! I usually clean my kitchen with you propped in the windowsill! Your videos are my reward for doing jobs inside when I would rather be outside!!!
I LUV LUV your new informal style of editing! Less IS more in this case!
I love sweet Woodruff. My favourite ground cover. I just trimmed the flowers off and pulled a ton out. Last year the dog laid in it and the seeds stuck in her fur. 😂. We too have had lots of rain and my hostas are huge. They are definitely getting crowded. Looks like I may be splitting them in the fall.
Love these casual garden strolls! Just like walking with best friend! Happy gardening!❤🎉❤
The garden looks amazing and the hostas are glorious.
I had a look at the Magazine - wonderful pictures !!! Love your garden….this weekend is the Sail GP in Halifax, NS - first time ever in Canada - thought you may be interested to hear that as you are quite into sailing yourself !
Erin your garden areas are absolutely gorgeous. Don't worry about the mess. I think us all gardeners have a mess somewhere in our garden. Thats a true gardener. Thank you for sharing this with us.
I love love love the weekly garden stroll 🤩 It's amazing to each week how things have grown.
It’s all looking good! I live 18 miles northwest from you, and we’ve been deluged with rain as well. My irises took a beating, but everything else is happy. In a couple of months, we may be wishing for the rain. Thank you for all the videos!
Your dog is adorable 🩷 You’re doing such a lovely job on your property. So beautiful.
@22:47 - Such a beautiful vignette. And I like how she reasons out how it all works together.
Never complain about rain. Humboldt county Northern California rain heading our way. Beautiful garden 🌿💚🙌
Hi. Good to see a Garden Channel with a actual garden. I'm a bit fed up with YT and the so-called garden channels with exposed soil or gardenbed hysteria.
If your Fizzy Mizzy itea is like my Little Henry & Scentlandia, you will have loads of sucklers within a year or two. You can cut these out with a sharp shovel and replant or pot up to grow on. I started with 5 of each and now have over 30 dotted throughout my woodland edges. Your bottlebrush buckeye looks great! Mine are 2nd season and only 2 feet tall. I (like you) planted to fill a void…waiting patiently:). FYI- my husband refers to our steep/moist woodland ravine that I planted with ostrich ferns as “Jurassic Park”. Great plant for the right place. I love your Jurassic Park!
Love this kind of video. So much to learn even if you can't remember the specific plant name.
I have zero alliums, and I need to remedy that! I also have two baby climbing hydrangeas and yours are so encouraging!! I have one viburnum and it never blooms. I think I prune it at the wrong times and it's all my fault. I'm loving the casual, strolling, unedited format. You always expose me/us to such a great variety of plants. Thank you for all the hard work!
Garden stroll on Sunday is awesome! You have a very healthy Climbing Hydrangea it's hard to fine it were I live.
I agree. I enjoy the stroll with weeds, messy neighbors and especially your beautiful garden!
The view at 34:55 is just so friggin cute. I love your house so much and the way it's framed at this moment is just perfect.
I don't care about anything "fancy", I just enjoy your videos. Thank you for sharing your garden with us!
I love when your ostrich ferns get crazy like this. They are so cool!
One of the things I find most special about your garden is the wide variety of plants you grow. Specifically the uncommon varieties, not found at your average garden center. My alliums and iris have completely died back now, so your garden is about a month behind my Indiana zone 6. I’ve watched you for a few years now and have learned so much from you. Thank you for all your content ❤❤❤❤ PS I had to have plumbego after I saw your video and it’s now growing in my garden too 😂😂
Love these unedited videos!
I agree just get the videos up the only thing I miss is the closed captions.💐💚🙃 I just rechecked and boom the closed captions were available 👏🏻💐💚🙃
The very big Hosta is a favorite for sure. I enjoy mine and have them here and there. Thank you so much for your casual approach to telling us about what you are up to in your garden.
I loved this morning garden walk. I've been so inspired by what you've done in your gardens that I will be incorporating more viburnums into mine and adding a climbing hydrangea. Also, I'll be planting some sort of tree in a container when I find the ones that talks to me.
Glorious garden, Erin! No need to edit….your personality and gardening thoughts are enlightening and helpful!!
'I walk by gardens and leave weeds' I can totally relate.
I love that you make no apologies for certain decisions
Thank you for the garden stroll! Your garden is so beautiful! Can’t wait for your next video!
Hi Erin, thank you for sharing ❤ Love those unedited strolls, please keep them coming 😊 I really enjoy walking with you and laughing with you 😅 The confession time was so funny, feel the same way about some plants! You did an amazing job with the mixed hedge next to your driveway, it’s looking established already and with all the ground covers planted recently it will grow & mature nicely. Great job, your neighbors are lucky to have you 😊👏 happy gardening!
Holy cow! Fern forest!! ❤️💫🌱💫❤️
Erin, you should try and find the “Merlot” version of that euphorbia, same structure but the flowers pop even more against the burgundy foliage! I got two as an afterthought last year and it has become an absolute favorite in my garden!!
I love the new casual, unedited format. Thank goodness for all the rain, and I agree-wow, are the plants loving it. I'm in SE Iowa.
I love that you keep it real. No need to edit.
I love the new format for your videos! If it saves time, then it’s a win for everyone. I love that you’re so matter of fact with your gardens and we see the good with the bad.
Love your unedited garden stroll. It's my 2nd season in my current home and I'm trying to establish my landscape -- loved when you said you grew out plugs. I grew about 250 plugs of 5 different perennials. I figure I'll keep doing it until I don't need more! You give out so much info and keep it real. The weeds are never-ending. Ugh!
Erin, You , your home and your Garden are absolutely Gorgeous... !!!
pretty brave bunny to come out on Dorothy's yard
I enjoy your videos so much! Really don't care if they are edited or not, just love watching! The photos of your garden in Midwest Living turned out fabulous 💐
Love the format Erin - keep doing it! I wonder if the red trillium is trillium erected “wake robin”. You have some real stunning trees and shrubs including the Roses Teacup Dogwood, Tricolour Beech, and the different viburnums.
Erin, I truly love your garden stroll videos, they reflect what's happening in most of our gardens this time of year. I leave piles of clean-out materials in different areas until I have time to clean up afterward. Real-life gardening is happening there... YAY! ~Margie🤗🐦💐🦋🐝
Wow! What a refreshing start to my day 🌞 Your unedited garden stroll feels like a breath of fresh air!
Beautiful garden, thanks for the stroll. The rain has been a gift this spring. I'm about an hour and a half south of you and everything is so green, too. And Erin, those ferns!👀 If Mr. Much More Patient can't find you, have him send in Dorothy!
I love this format! You've got great sk8lls both in the garden and during impromptu taping = thank you
Hey Erin, I love the strolls the way they are! I am watching as it is raining heavily outside, so I will enjoy walking in my own garden later when it has passed! The garden after it rains is a wonderful opportunity! Thanks for sharing 🤗
I love the diervilla bush honeysuckles! I have Kodiak Orange and it just looks better and better every year; tough and looks great with no maintenance!

Super agree, I have the Kodiak Orange, love them spring thru fall!
Erin, I so enjoy you're videos. Your gardens are so fabulous and it's nice to see a more relaxed space.... this is real life..... and the soundtracks you use are so good. Thank you so much for the time and knowledge you share.
Yes! The climbing hydrangea will make it across! Great tour Erin, everything looks SO lush and beautiful!
Garden looks great. I really enjoy the weekly walkabout! No need to edit. A child’s saucer sled makes a great catch all when weeding. 😊
Beautiful gardens! Those ferns are amazing!
I like these freestyle laid back videos. I don't get notifications for 98% of my channels anyway so I just check in. This warm rainy spring has made my plants go CRAZY!! I have most of my summer bloomers and even fall bloomers blowing up looking amazing! You'd think it was mid July at my house with these flowers blooming like they are. Yours are looking good too! Looking forward to more of these type of videos.
I like the strolls too, just chill.
Much enjoyed this video Erin. Such a beautiful morning here as well. Came in from mowing and weeding & got to cool off with a glass of iced tea & a video from you. Thank you!
Amazing Place !! thanks for the tour!..just Beautiful Piece of Paradise you have there..🙏💚😇💜🌿🌲 💐
Enjoyed this easy relaxed stroll of gardens as usual. So many pretty areas. Hostas are amazing!
OMG on the Ostrich Fern wowza!!
Love the garden strolls - no editing required. Everything is looking beautiful-we too have had our share of spring showers, loving that!
You live in such a magnificent part of the world. I adore all of the beautiful plants that you are able to grow in the cooler US zones. I especially love your fernery, the viburnums and the giant confer trees that are growing in your garden. Thanks for your videos and greetings from subtropical Australia.
LMAO we all have plants we don't like and everyone else does. But once it's removed and planted with something I like I feel soooo much better. Personally I love my bridal veil. It has been chopped down to the nubbins, it have been moved, it has been divided and hacked on. It still comes back.
love the unedited strolls; your gardens permit so.
Keep up the tours they way they are. Enjoy the yard and the progression of the plants.
I also love your "unedited" videos....such a beautiful yard!
I am loving these unedited gardening videos so much, Erin! It’s nice to see the messes you’ve made and the weeds that still need tending to, because we all have those in our own gardens as well. Please keep doing these!!!
Love your garden strolls! Always love seeing Dorothy!💗I need some viburnum ! I enjoy that you keep your videos relatable with your weed piles! Looks like my garden . I often get discouraged when I see gardens that are perfection without weeds. Looking forward to the next video ! Thx
A sweet familiar voice Thanks Lark❤ garden looks great 😊
Hearty begonias are incredible and they self seed. They seem to love damp shade.
I am loving these casual garden tours!! Thank you!
Gosh, your garden is just beautiful. I love that you have piles of weeds and cuttings and pulled plants, just like I do. I’m just living the frequency of your videos. Feels like hanging out with a friend!
Enjoying your conent! I agree on:" you can't see the chives for the weeds" . Its a very tedious process!
It is wonderful to be exposed to so many plants. Your ability to rattle of the names is remarkable. The ostrich fern patch is awesome. I hope that Dorothy is doing okay after the loss of Odin. I love your artistic creations too!
Where have I been? I had no idea you had a cat! I enjoy taking walks with you in the garden. Rain is the best way to water the plants and the plants always seem to do particularly well after a good rain! The chives look great!
Love this garden stroll! Gardens look lush and you have so many blooms this early in the season. Great work!
Erin, I love your garden! We are in hot oklahoma 7a-b and although we have also had a ton of rain, I have had a hard time with losing trees during our droughts in summer. Your hard work sure shows! We moved 8th our home 5 years ago and although it’s come a long way, and we started with a new home built on a cattle pasture I dream of having large trees some day. Anyway, yours is just beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Tri color beech is magical!
Beautiful garden and beautiful hosta, Its the bees knees.
Phenomenal huge hosta and placement by stairway
I love what you do. I love to see reality, you are great.
I am always excited to see your videos - no fancy editing needed!
I don’t love spirea either so don’t feel badly. I love the buckeye! I really like this format! Thanks
Love these garden strolls. Thank you so much!
I really look forward to to these weekly strolls
