I’m having a bunny explosion in my neighborhood too! I felt like Mr. McGregor the other day when working out in my flower garden, because there was three baby bunnies running around to get away from me. I figured they must have been Flopsy, Mospy and Cottontail. 🐰🐰🐰👩🏻‍🌾🌻🌺

I love when you pop in footage of your gardens before to contrast with how they look now. I appreciate whoever does your video editing that includes clips like those, whether it's Aaron or some other staff person. Well done! I first came across your channel during lockdown, and you just had closed on the south garden property. It's been so inspiring to watch you take these "blank slate" spaces and have the vision of how to break up the spaces and create interest and beauty. 😍

Hi Laura! Once you were talking about how you wish that the aqua pots had a better system to check the water level inside and what we do is we leave a thin wooden dowel inside it (through the flower opening) and just pull it out every five days or so, and if it’s dry, it’s time to fill it up! Hopefully you’ll see this comment since you just uploaded and hopefully it will help you!

Laura, as cute as the bunny is, I hope you don't have a problem in the future with bunnies eating your plants. My husband and I sat on our deck a few days ago enjoying dinner, when he spotted a bunny in our back yard. It stopped at the front of my garden and began to eat my Coneflowers! I put mesh wire around all of them, which now looks really ugly! I also sprinkled some rabbit resistant pellets in the area, but that has minimal effect. It's so discouraging to see plants basically eaten to the ground. Maybe you can do a video and ask for submissions from viewers on how they deal with pest pressure. It would be great to have a compilation of the best ideas so we can all help each other. Just a thought!!

It gets confusing hearing that something is blue when it is actually purple and then hearing that something is purple which looks the exact same color as the supposed blue. Uck. Great use of a lot of your idle containers being used in special ways! Do you think about setting a cute chair near them, just because you can? Looking forward to seeing some beautiful tall stately figurines! Cannot wait to see what you choose! Does adding a large round base beneath the square bases of your fantastic large vases seem to make the base disappear into the landscape floor? Great inspiration for us, thank you for giving us some new ideas!

What beautiful plants! Yes, the plants you put where the begonias were do look better. I do like those begonias; in my area they are foing well in our short season. Good to know about white, yellow, and purple can usually work well with warm or cool tones. On another subject, our weather is weird here too very windy and cooler this evening. I hope my tomatoes make it!

It makes me smile that Laura made a big fuss over the bunny, but at our 50 x 100 lot in Michigan on a small island, I fight with about 6 of them. They love supertunia, Superbena, roses, and many other items, that I have to fence against the bunnies…amazing how different our planting situations are.

Thanks for popping in the pics from previous years - I love that!!! It shows how far the garden has come in such a very short time. Would love to see a complete before and after video of all the changes you've made since you moved onto the property. But I reckon that would have to be a series of videos as the changes are huge!!!!

All the containers look great. I really love the last one - purple, white and yellow. The red-white-blue looks so much better than I expected - very pretty. The South Garden is looking great (what we could see) - we need an update tour.

Laura those Savannah urns need big tall pillars to stand on! I think two front gate posts would be so beautiful at your entrance (you could incorporate a security gate if you wanted) but since you don’t have so much brick at your house I imagine something a little bit craftsman and definitely with a northwestern flare. Maybe two pillars that have a witch hat kind of shape that would be predominantly white lap siding with a brick accent at the bottom. Probably about 6 foot tall to be well proportioned and a substantial cap on them where the urns could sit!
