I’ve had 7 of the W168 A Class and loved each one. The A170 CDI has great torque, and the long wheelbase versions have enormous interior space. They’re not everyone’s cup of tea, but I enjoyed each one.
Doug, thank you for the eRam Kit mention! Jimmy was certainly a pleasure to work with. We are known in the 996 and 997 turbo communities, and starting to get traction with the CGT owners and shops, this video helps get the word out! It’s been a passion, going on 10 years. Dave Cooper, Rennkit

Big respect for Doug actually driving the CGT and investing into making it more drivable. That may come at a cost in value, but the last, great analog hypercar deserves to be enjoyed. Personally, as a former owner of an OG NSX, I like the integrated spoiler in the down position, but I do see how the raised position makes it look more dramatic.

An ounce of prevention is worth a gallon of cure. Btw, the fact that you are proactively prevents issues rather than wait for problems to happen is why I certainly respect you as a car enthusiast, I imagine most others feel the same way too and because you are a public figure who has a lot of other car enthusiasts that also like cars and many unlike me might actually be able to afford your high-end cars, you have established that your cars are taken care of and will need nothing if you decided to sell them. In other words, if you decide to sell any of your cars, the meticulous way you take care of your cars and your public reach will guarantee your cars will command significantly higher prices than other comparable cars.
Keep driving your cars Doug! I'm living vicariously through you

Dude, Doug already went to a lot of detail in a previous video when he first purchased the car. He actually explained it much better in that video than this one. Sure, there was some quality-of-life mods, but the wing and suspension work were definitely a service visit.
That's a lot, but considering what you had installed, I consider those mandatory upgrades to keep the value high. It also makes it more manageable. The lift should be on ALL valuable cars.

I do understand it's cooler at the ocean, but it doesn't snow. Totally unnecessary, I'm against this one adding weight. Use the dang custom luggage and keep a couple scarves and light but effective jackets for him and his wife. If you know the weather in advance, just wear some Merino layers. Soft, light, thin, good for cool and warm. All you need is some light layers. It's not like there isn't a heater to turn on your feet (which helps avoid heater dust, but also blow it out with face covering, before loading a passenger, its a convertible clearing out unused heating is easy. If only Doug knew about $20 Bluetooth fm transmitters lol

I loved your explanation for the CGT! Your enthusiasm as a driver comes through the screen. Im a car guy, but also a gun guy (1911s). If you have a high end 1911, there are a small number of gunsmiths that will actually add value and provenance to your gun with their work. You always mention that one of those guys built, or worked on your gun It sounds like your 2 "mechanics" add that type of value in the exotic car world
