My garage door randomly decided to have a conniption fit over the holiday weekend (isn't that always how it goes?) and refused to close unless we held it manually... you hit our nail on the head when you said check the sensors because they shake loose; our receiver was loose and pointed at the ground. My family's garage door opener hasn't worked for years. My dad asked me to call someone out to look at it. Before they came out, I wanted to make sure I had the model number... ...which let me track down the owner's manual... ...which let me interpret the diagnostic light... ...which let me know it was an issue I could fix myself.
