Only few will understand, let alone acknowledge how human trauma and climate change (amongs many other dire consequences) are intrinsically connected. To put it simply, emotional malnourishment (hence traumatic response) leads to addictive behaviour, which on its turns pushes the countless victims towards mindless overconsumption which, on its turn, rapidly depletes our fragile planet's resources and our common biosphere's viability. So there cannot be a bigger and more important task at hand for us than to finally begin to understand ouselves on psychological and emotional level. From that very perspective, Gabor Maté deserves a Nobel Prize for his work.

It s so annoying, not to see the speaker the whole time, but instead some random pictures all the time. Not good. 👎
