What a great teacher! I love the way she reminds us of details so we don't mess up our project, like reminding us to iron our fabric AGAIN. Really loved this video....off to my sewing room to play with applique!

On using the window technique on the templates - it also lets you fussy-cut your shapes. You can see what will be featured in that shape before you cut so that you can focus on certain eye-catching designs. I love this tutorial. Thank you!!

Kimberly Jolly I am slowly going deaf, having used Netflix cc lately as some are low talkers and I can't understand some actors. The cc on Foxtel and free to air here in Australia isn't always accurate either. I did notice a website had a transcript of the video as well. It's a little hard with her accent but think her accent is beautiful. She's a great teacher and very thorough. Can I also suggest you put a link to the items used in your videos which I have seen some do. Great channel am learning so much. I love the ironing thing too jodie Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺 stay safe

Oh I know, you have so many great videos! My only thought was that it would be so great to see the actual umbrella turned over because of all the points and so forth. I was wondering, how does the umbrella done with fusible raw-edge applique hold up to washing?

I have heat and bond light which indicates you can sew it as well BUT I have heat and bond ultra which you cannot sew. Which method do you recommend? I'm making a quilt that will actually be used not a show piece. Thanks in advance!

Who did the CC for this video? It says things like "Umbrella quelled' Not umbrella quilt. It also said that she choose a "Laak", not a "Layer cake." I play CC because I have to read them sometimes, and CC on this one is off in a lot of places.

"Lay it Takes" not "Layer Cakes" further on. Makes it very hard to watch and read this video. What is a "fan fell'? "Usable wedding", " Air are back on topic this bank of Africa's captain nine-and-a-half'? Do you think that no one watches the CC version of your videos? I give up, I really wanted to watch this, but just can't do it with all the errors in it.
