Fantastic tutorial. Especially useful to know how to cut the diamonds with basic rulers most of us already have and not have to buy yet another "special" ruler. Microtex needles are great too. So much good info in this lesson.

I just made a practice star and followed your directions to a T. The star turned out so perfect I'm now doing a second and it is perfect also. Your directions are so easy to follow. I have a book of your patterns but they looked to advanced for me. Well I don't feel that way anymore. I feel ready to tackle one of your patterns now. Plus I have to figure out what to make with these perfect stars!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am so grateful to have found this tutorial! I have been struggling all week to make an 8-pointed star in the traditional way and was ready to give up and use one of the methods that does not use set-in seams. My first block using this method turned out worlds better than anything I have made using the traditional method. Thank you so much!

Edyta, beautiful instructions! Now, I am not going to be afraid to use "Y" seams. You made it so so simple ... Step by step ... cut, angle, direction of sewing, laying directions of seam allowance and pressing only the back side. This is my first time watching your tutorial, but, I will be looking forward to seeing more.
