    Just too cool. My wife and I purchased 2 electric bikes from a CT shop. Now I'm fixating on these fat tire quads. By the way, who in the planet is giving any thumbs down. Someone is clearly jealous but Karma bites. Love these videos. LOVE them.

    I love it send me one, I mean actually send me to. The only thing I dislike about it is the fact that the seat supports go into the center of the rack basically negating the usability of the rack. Oh and need a good solar panel for a roof and keeping the battery charged for long trips.👍😊😊

    Rack stays can be moved to the front of the rack for less aggressive riding, but there is a lot of room there to haul a lot of stuffs. We've actually been testing different solar panels to use as part of a riding roof. Soon.

    The more practical the trike or quad is the more people will use it. And when I say more practical I mean more than just using it as a commuter vehicle, to be capable of using it for work is super important. What I mean is to be capable of hauling equipment to the job. Obviously small equipment, what I mean is side by side quadricycle with solar panel roof capable of handling a 400 lb trailer. Now that would be something that would be really cool and definitely usable. My wife and I do catchment tank roof and gutter cleaning here on the big island use a small truck for hauling everything. Why not do it with a quad? Okay my wife thinks I'm going over the top , the quite frankly I think it's feasible. Keep up the good work you guys are doing a great job.

    I agree the seat supports in the middle of the rack seem like an unusual / less than ideal choice. Not mentioning it to be critical--just feedback for improvement / iteration. I have shown the quad videos to two different friends and both comment on the seat supports in the cargo area right out of the gate.

  • @UtahTrikesOnline

    @UtahTrikesOnline

    4 жыл бұрын

    1. The eQuad was designed primarily for off-road dirt and trails. For this reason, and after much testing, we chose the solid axle as the base. Our freewheel diff is another great option, but does lose the reverse. The open diff options would slip to easily because of the lightweight of the quad. We are working on a locker differential, and when available will be a retrofit option on the eQuad. 2. The front suspension is integrated into the spindles. 3. See number one. For mostly road riding we recommend another tire. We like the 3in Kenda Flame!

    The seat and bottom bracket are adjustable and we've pushed the seat back further than most recumbent trikes. If you sit back any further your heels and legs will hit the frame. The alternative is to move the rider between the wheels and then extend the frame about 2 feet. We've done that on some builds, but they are heavier and harder to transport.
