@@Flexpanthers why? Because he got knocked down? Devin looks like he's seeing stars in his recent fights, if that isn't telling of a bad chin idk what is. Plenty of people get knocked down. Jermall Charlo got knocked down in the exact same way with his right arm behind his back when he hit the canvas but nobody says anything. Hate the kid all you want and your right he has bad defense but we don't know about his chin. Devin is my favorite lightweight currently but I'm gonna tell you what I see without bias. Not sure how getting dropped, than getting up immediately and dominating your opponent is a sign of a bad chin 🤔

Amir boxed extremely well for 5 rounds without ever hurting Canelo, he definitly has speed and skill but when you already have a suspect chin at lower weights it is very brave (or foolish) to go up 2 weight classes and get in with a massive puncher.

as a British person who hates her country it's always satisfying to see british boxers outclassed...

So clean how Canelo setup this knockout. He kept going for the body to make Amir subconsciously want to block a shot by mistake to protect his ribs. You can see his ribs with damage to make the body want to protect itself. I feel like his lead trainer knew from seeing the visible damage and recommended Canelo to slow it down to sacrifice power for accuracy.

khans speed is just insane look at that one two at 21:14 . khan have no power and canelo doesn´t feel it but he gets surprise/wobbled by the speed alone

True! Water in the basement but to be fair to Khan he took those hard body shots like a warrior - he really did have a lions heart back then - He was always in great condition back then was Khan and although he has a poor chin he has never been put down or badly hurt from a body shot !

Anyone watching this. Notice that leading up the the KO. Almost ALL of Canelo's lefts went for the head and pretty much every right he threw went to the body. He did it so much that Kahn got programmed to think he was safe when the right was being thrown. He was right, until he wasn't.

I initially thought Amir Khan was a scrub but when I clicked on this video I quickly saw how competent he was. Canelo caught him with this hands down but what a solid fight. I actually thought AK was doing slightly better in the first 5 rounds. Love seeing real fights like these.

The reason khan dropped his guard was because every time canelo fainted a punch to the head he went for the body and khan adjusted to that rhythm, canelo was waiting for him to adjust and drop the guard to protect the body so he could land a punch to the head. Canelo is a calculated fighter.

This is some fight. Kudos to Amir Khan for staying in the game and putting on a show against Canelo. 🥊🥊👍🏻

These announcers are so in love with Kahn's speed that they don't seem to notice that Amir is not hitting Alvarez.

I don't like canelo that much, but the way he checked with Amir after he knocked him out was just so classy

Been watching Canelo's fights for a long time! He is one solid puncher, and after he works your body for a while, he either takes you out with a shot to the jaw, or a thundering shot to the liver!! Just one savy fighter!!

Mad respect to Kahn. He went up two weight classes to fight Canelo. That first 2 Piece combo in the first round was so fast that I didn't see it!!! He had the right fight plan and was executing perfectly, he just got caught with a Canelo special. Nothing u can do about that. 😂Also gotta give credit to Canelo's corner, their advice was SPOT-ON the whole fight.

I swear Canelo's neck/delts absorb all the damage, the dude has an unreal chin.

What I like about Canelo is he’s such a respectful guy to his opponents once they’re beat, same response after knocking out Kovalev quieting the crowd til he knew he was OK

Canelo was just better conditioned for this fight he was able to pace himself better, khan gassed out lost focus and ultimately got koed.

I wouldn't say he gassed out at that point, but he was on his way to gassing out for sure. Canelo just waited, but he did lose 5 rounds so there's that.

It's crazy when you look at the names on Khan's resume. Win or lose, that guy fought absolutely everybody he could and its hard to find resumes this strong these days: Marco Antonio Barerra - W Paulie Malignaggi - W Marcos Maidana - W Zab Judah - W Devon Alexander - W Canelo Alvarez - L Terence Crawford - L Danny Garcia - L Lamont Peterson - L (that should have been a W though) Kell Brook - L

The Liam Smith fight was a lot better. This is one of Canelo's more sloppy fights because Khan was moving so much and throwing wild combos with so much speed.

Them 3 punches Amir landed at 10:51 were phenomenal

Idk why it's so funny when Canelo started lifting Khan into the air but it is 😂

That was a great fight! Khan was on top for pretty much the whole fight, you could see he was moving with much more ease around the ring, Canelo was trying to trap Khan in a corner a few times and had trouble sizing the guy up, but as we progressively saw: Canelo can maintain his top speed while also maintaining a deadly power, and there lies his true strength. I loved that fight because it shows great footwork, the necessity for speed, but also power, and to have your guard up, but also that at any point even if the fight seems one sided, a well placed powerful punch can make all the difference in the world. Great fight!
