My mama and I used to watch the Paula Deen Show on TV all the time. We both loved every single minute. Paula you are so talented both as a cook and an outgoing personality. Any day that I feel blue I only have to watch you cook and hear your wisdom and I am smiling the rest of the time. Fantastic recipes here that I for sure will be trying. Cannot believe I can have corned beef and cabbage without boiling for hours and ending up with that mushy cabbage you mention! And that raspberry sauce - wow so great! I have a Trader Joe nearby and will be looking for the Crab and Shrimp there. Thank you for all the love and joy and expertise you have shared over the years and for making my mama's last years so incredibly happy!

I miss her show so much. I used to love coming home to a new episode nearly every weekday. I rarely watch the food network anymore now that her shows are gone.

Paula Deen is a disgrace because she never should have been hired by food Network because if I would have hired she would have gotten fired on the spot

I am so glad you bought the rights to your show Paula. I just found them today. My mother and I used to watch you daily. I have all of your cookbooks. My daughter thinks I am obsessed with you. Love love love.

I went to Lady & Sons back in 2009. I remember the hoecakes the most...my family & I tried for a long time to duplicate these, but never succeeded. Now I have the recipe! Yay!

Purple Iris is my favorite flower.

I love Paula. But there is just no substitute for homemade corned beef and cabbage. I cannot not do the canned meat. I'll wait until I have time to have the fresh corned beef slow cooked with the cabbage.

Every time mama made vegetable beef soup she made hoe cakes and we slathered them with peanut butter. I make them like that for my family

I miss you Paula Deen on the food Network channel I wish they would consider bringing you back on.much love and respect for you. God bless you and your family.

I haven't not ever will watch Food Network again unless they put Paul back on ! Everyone I know here in Baltimore refuses to also we love her. The people they have on Food Network today just don't know how to cook and look stupid ! They should just do away with cooking for good and the Food channel Sucks big time !

So, there is NOT a Trader Joe's in Savannah. Which means wherever she was coming back home from with those flowers, they would have been long quilted and dead by the time she got there. LOL

I never knew she had a cat...I guess it took a seafood dish for it to make an appearance.
