*My daughter drinks lots of water and urinates with the same rate, there are no other symptoms to show if those have anything to do with diabetes. This is a good information that I have gone through **Diabets.Care** She is 2 years 9 months, hale and healthy, have not done any blood test. But I am not certain if one can get diabetes at such a tender age. Please I will like to know more on that*

I have the same issue ...i drink lot of water and urinate a lot. Got myself checked ...NO diabetes. Doc suggested a test ...you could try too with your daughter. Restrict water consumption for few hours...and see what happens. In my case if i don't take excess water I don't urinate that much...it's normal . Probably your daughter is like me, she just loves water.

Lady should get a special treat for cooking so many dishes for one day. She made it look so easy as if she hardly spent any time cooking these meals. Chopping & washing dishes are not even mentioned here. Everything got done without any fuss.

@@gauravk5974 This food isn't cooked for 1 person. At list cooked for 3 to 4 people. So if 1 person who is health conscious or specially for diabetic patient, I think it's fine to consume that much of oil. She not only teaching us how to cook good food with immense knowledge and well experienced but also sharing a lot of tips, which is very important. Still it's not excess but that's absolutely perfect what I feel. You can cut of the oil and just have healthy food but stop complaining. I really love her as a mother and love watching her tips, videos. Trying to implement those things into my daily life. People do post all kind of so called street food and people love Watching them too. Those videos are just time wasting food with loaded of oil. E.g. Just for an omlete people use almost 10 to 12 tbsp of oil along with some butter may be more. Also they add so much of extra cheese, egg etc and we watch them interestingly. Now I feel those are just time waste. Trust me is better to watch this type of videos. This quarantine is actually helping our family to learn different receipes and tips. For sure this will certainly help us in our upcoming days. This videos are not only helping us to learn some healthy food made at home and also learning really good tips. Love you Gita Mam. Just keep up the good work. I am not sure where you live but once I get to know and if I am travelling there I will certainly love to meet you. I love elderly people specially where they are calm and love to teach us something really good. All the way love from KOLKATA!

Very well done.. all aspects of nutrition, sugar level control well covered. My experience is that in the breakfast part if there is any item with ingredients having say about 40% pulses wit 60% cereals it would make a lot of difference to the sugar control. For example, instead of broken wheat upma, if there is any dish which as dal as another major ingredient.. for example, Paruppu adai.. or vegetable khichdi with lapsi/rawa & moong dal. it will be fantastic in controlling sugar levels more.

Mother Geetaji, you brought smiles on our face throughout with your recipe, smile, homely preparation and your love for wellness of diabetics is a blessing to all. As a diabetic I am controling it through mix of good food, yoga, meditation, walking ,cycling, marathon.,singing (clinics keep calling /sending daily messages to visit 😁). Managing not to stop at the chat corners in the evening or not laying hands on sweets during the festival season (too many now) is still a rollercoaster guilt mind challenge. Certainly your recipes are a game changer. Thank you and wish all diabetics (Sweet human beings) to keep their sugar levels low and spirit of life higher. Note: Diabates is a deficiency and not a disease .Highest contributor for diabetes is stress. Engaging ourselves in happy ,humanitarian, spiritual, social & cultural activities reduces it by 50 percent. Food control 50 percent. Sarve Jano Sukhinobhavanthu .Dhanyavada Geetaji. 🙏🙏🙏

Nice vid. BTW, I have reversed my type 2 diabetes by 1) getting rid of any type of oil, including nuts from diet. 2) No dairy products too. And, 3) no non veg. In 3 months I lost weight and brought my A1C under absolute control. In my case it was the oil (that prevents sugar absorption, I am told) that was the key. Hope that helps at least one more person.

@@susanly4941 No fats. Wrt carbs, 1/2 plate of greens, 1/4 plate of carbs (rice, pasta, etc) and 1/4 plate of protein (lentils). Potatoes should be boiled and cooled before consuming. All this differs for each person, so please take this as a template and adjust based on your weight/A1C reading. I lost about 2 lbs a week for about 2 months. Any further weight loss is managed by a liquid diet. You may not need such a drastic step.

@@nrao8977 ,thank you so much! last year I lowered my A1c by only have under 50 gm of carbs a day and keep losing weight so much to the point that I have to eat again to gain back the weight and the sugar high again, how can I maintain the weight where I want to be without further more loss of weight, falling hair and insomnia? I am a vegan and will follow your plan with no oil fat, thank you again.
