Damn, I've been watching for about 35 mins expecting the episode to end only to discover a marathon episode of nearly 3 hours. Loving it.

Lol same here l, I was thinking this is a long episode and I was only 30 mins in
I realized at 12 am, that I've already watched this build. Seeing it in it's entirety again (now 3 am) shows just how many hours of hard work goes into it. The rear wing fitting always cracks me up!

RIGHT!! I’m here for it!
Marty, "In the bin" could be a good slogan for the environmental movement in Australia.
You guys are the main reason why I love and appreciate simple builds that improve upon the original car without going crazy. A factory+ so to speak. Make it fun but keeping it simple.
Absolutely loved hearing the chat with scotty about the boost and engine efficiency.
I’m not a huge car fanatic BUT I do watch every episode and I admire how you put out these huge specials, much love ❤
Been following MCM for 10 years now! These 2 guys should have been the new Top gear presenters

8 months too late but these build videos are a total treat. Please, very much please, keep to your true self because the chemistry is so real. Several years later and still 1 of the best automotive channels on KZread and totally for free... We are SO blessed!

As a guy who was road tracking rotaries back in the 1990s, I REALLY love this build. Oddly, I used to autocross a 1972 Corolla in the mid 1970s… pretty cool
Inspired me! my 180 is now mechanically complete! just hit 189kw and only thing left is the paint thanks guys! =D

Yes! Basically a movie! Arigato, boys!
I'm just flabbergasted how nostalgic this feels, everybody is building new modern cars or supercars or extreme builds these days. This Takes me back to when everybody did builds like these I loved every minute of this
M&M and MCM, I legit love this channel. I started watching in late 2011 or early 2012. Back on the driveway!!!! I think it was the electric turbo episode or leaf blowers episode that started me. Since then my MCM love has grown. I live in Edinburgh but I’m from Northern Ireland. Guys, you must do an Ireland/Scotland build and drive. Get Fry and Finnegan into it as well!! That would be epic. Circuit of Ireland/Scotland Rally style. Joey Dunlop, Bertie Fisher, Eddie Irvine, and Colin McCrea were my heroes, growing up. The bikers and rally guys had a huge following and there was a massive car scene in my home town during the 90s. MAX POWER magazine held events and every night people cruised around the town between car parks. Subs turned up to 11, cannon exhausts and K&N air filters, CEBE and HELLA spotlights, and AutoGlym everywhere. I got my license in 1997, and yet, I’ve never owned a car!! Now, I think I need one and will probably get something that is as boring as your dad’s nut sack, but I want to mod it - whatever it is! My not “crap car”.
It’s midnight and I have an exam tomorrow morning but I’m for sure watching mighty car mods now!

Love this long form video guys, makes a great change of pace to have something 'complete' to watch all at once
The best thing about this show, is that you have helped make wrenching on rigs fun again. its not always about whats best or fastest, sometimes its just about having fun and damn......you two are the fcking ambassadors of automotive fun.

God, two hours of my dream car and someone who understands the value of keeping a nice car like this nice and simple, makes the dopamine levels 📈. Great stuff boys 😃
This 180SX is so beautifully clean. Love the sounds of it. About 8 years ago I worked as an ambulanceman and the car dealer down the street had an 180SX for sale and he wanted around 3000$ for it. Wished I would've bought it back then.
Thank you for all the hard work that goes into providing this content for us to enjoy!

Those year make Zs are so tasteful without being boring. Nissan really nailed the industrial design.

Almost 4:30 am & just finished watching the whole video, loved it, need more long episodes 💯
I LOVE these guys! I remember yearsa go when they used to work out of their driveway. The most exciting mods they did were taking weight off the cars and those fake turbo whistles. that you attach to the exhasut pipe. I'm so glad that they have came so far and are doing so well for themselves. I wish I had friends like them.
My guy literally uploaded a documentary, love it
The moment you realize its an almost 3 hour video. 😲Damn boys, thank you! JDM goodness too, double win.
This was an awesome video for a wonderful car. But if there is anything that I take away from your videos through all the years its one thing...friendships. Sure these guys get paid for their work, but you guys are friends with them and it really shows. Thanks for bringing us all along with you!
Still cannot believe this quality of content is available for free.
As a 2010 era s13 owner, the chats about the old jap car days were so wholesome. Good times. I wish I never sold my s13 now, bought it for 3k. 🤣😭
Love the fact you've made it all in one video! Amazing work and I couldn't look away! 3hrs of my life well spent. 🙂
Love all these episodes wrapped together. Beautiful car, ONE BOT looks as modern as any car today. Of course I love pop up and down headlights as well, so I might be biased. And you made the right choice on “limiting” the power, you can enjoy driving it daily without worrying it will blow up.
You're my natural successors to Click and Clack, the Tappet Brothers Radio Show that I grew up watching. My kids will now grow up watching/listening to you while I drive them to school.
I learned that going to the DMV very shortly before closing to register a potentially difficult vehicle gets it done basically no questions asked.
Loving this length video! Can't get enough of MCM!
It's 1:33 am I was about to call it a night but two top blokes in Australia just made a 2:40 hour long restoration video......sleep doesn't matter anymore. (An hour into watching this I was like is this Deja Vu? I have already seen the entire build hahaha, gonna watch it anyway)
Love watching these all put into one. It's like watching a marathon of your favorite shows.
180SX has always been my dream car, even over a Skyline. This was a perfect build for me.
One of the best cars yall have done. Thanks for putting together a marathon of JDM joy and wonder
Absolutely love this build, what a transformation, and what a restoration. Amazing work, fellas!
New 3 hours episode of Martycarmoogs! My favourite
I’ve watched this about 5 times and it never gets old such an awesome build.
What an incredible video, when I started I didnt think I could watch all the way through but now at the end Im glad I did. What a stunning car you have brought back to life especially in that white with the body kit. Cant wait to see it out on track with what I would say is either ONE BOT or ONE EIGHTY Turbo 😉
Totally awesome. I love this full build video. For me this is really inspiring, new learning, full enthusiastic, DIY power bomb. 👍
This is awesome because I work in a warehouse so I can't sit there and watch these episodes on my phone but I can have my Bluetooth headset on and listen to it and I'll tell you right now listening to these guys is just as fun as actually watching the episodes LOL I can't even see what's going on and I love it either way!
In Canada these cars were called the 240SX with a 2.4l I4. I had the a 200SX from the generation prior to this one. It was a white coupe with a KA20DE engine and with about 120hp. Even without a turbo, or a lot of power, it was a blast to drive. Probably the best handling car I have ever owned. I taught my girlfriend how to drive sideways in the snow in it. I could drive almost compleatly sideways and steer with just the throttle and one finger. Let up a bit and the rear end came into line as I unwound the stearing. Give a little bit more and the rear would swing out the opposite way and I could drive it completely sideways for as long as I had a straight road with only one finger on the wheel and just feathering the throttle. It made me feel like a driving god drifting through intersections like a pro. I remember entering off ramps at speeds that I could never do in any car since. Speeds that were much higher then the posted freeway speed limits. More than double the off ramps posted limit. It would just take a set and just hold it as long as you didn't let up. It would start to come around when you lifted but very controllable. I did have to have it almost straight in order to get on the brakes real hard to stop in time. I remember the day I took it into the dealer to trade for a 4 door Altima as I had my first child on the way. I so wish I had of kept it even if I had to store it for a bit until I got around to doing something with it. I don't see any on the road now.

in australia the generation before the 180sx was called gazelle and came in both coupe and hatchback
Love you guys! Love the content and great banter, really is an uplifting experience. Since watching Ketzal Sterling many many years ago, him quoting Kw numbers…. Man, please give us Pom’s a bhp figure so it makes sense. 🤣🤣😉 Mega channel, such a top laugh. Bravo. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 and thank you. 🙏🏻
I would love to see you guys do a RWD conversion on the NX, throw a turbo in it and make a 180NX monster.
This might be the best car you guys have built. Yeah its not the fastest, yeah its not the craziest, but man... there is just something about cars from this era that you just dont find much anymore. Maybe its the nostalgia speaking, but nothing hits the same now. I've watched you for 13 years, but this build feels really special. Congrats on the car.
The soundtrack at the end gives you such a warm fuzzy feeling
1:55:12 at this point I realized that I have grown up through the years watching your videos and watching you grow as well as myself in love with cars more and more. I remember watching the video 11 years ago where you guys were trying to find the smell in the civic build part 2 and where Marty takes the amp out and throws it into the front yard and you taped up your nose and found a pube on a toothbrush and I was hooked. I laughed the whole time and knew this channel was just pure gold. Keep up the awesome videos guys! Can't wait to see what the future holds!
That is the cleanest S13 undercarriage i have ever seen in my life
Out of all the great JDM cars there is out there, the 240sx(180sx) is still and will forever be my favorite car
Such a treat, watching the whole build of the 180sx was awesome. Hopefully there are more vids in the future of other cars getting their own special build video from start too finish. Awesome work guys
Need some footage of it on the track!
Dude last few shots I almost cried of happiness.....
ONE BOT, such a clean example of a JDM dream
I love this style of video, where you show the entire build over one long edit. Pure perfection, please continue to make more and keep up the great work. We all love you. Also.... "Purity box"
To make the 180 KW even better, that's about 240 horsepower, and here in the US (for some reason) the car is called the 240sx
Scotty is so experienced, its wild
havent watched yal in like 12 years and ive been missing out on quality content
This brings lots of memories on my first car modification on my 240sx from engine swap, manual swap, body work, 5 lug swap, break upgrade, suspension work and wheels.
Even though most of us have already watched all of this before, we're still happy to have the full-length feature to enjoy in one go.
I bought my standard 91’ 240sx for 3k off a used lot in some podunk town here in Minnesota in 2001. Thank you two for the nostalgia and beautiful music.❤❤❤
omg moog actually spilled the "up" in this episode! :D
Woohooo, 3 hours of Friday night goodness. Thanks dudes🎉
What a wild ride this was. I'm glad to see this turned out as well as it did.
What a build! I actually have an all stock Silvia K’s Club model sitting in the garage myself that is waiting to get restored. Your 180 is pretty much the embodiment of my own imagination and looking at it makes me even more eager to start the build process. Thank you for preserving this pristine example of a 180 and see you on the road! 🙏
i love these type of videos, makes future watching easier to watch a project build instead of tracking down episodes.
Can’t get over just how great a condition that 180 is in. Lucky guys, having that sunny weather! Keep Mr Rust away! 😊
You guys have really come a long way,,,love this epi with the donut crew to booth and bryan aswell,,,kudos mates,,,much love from the Philippines,,,
I dont really like this long format, but i like you guys.
This has gotta be my most favourite episode of MCM ever I'm proper simping over that 180sx well done guys you have saved not just another jdm classic but arguably the best jdm classic thank you for such a awesome 3 hours ✌✌✌
I missed the 180 build when it originally was happening so having everything in one mega episode is just what I needed!
one 80 turbo ❤ you have done the car and the Nissan fanboys justice.... what a beautiful restoration Boys long live the Nissan 🤞👊
I like these long form videos so much better! Watch it all in one go instead of little bits.
This has to be one of the best car build clips I've ever seen, absolutely sensational and giving me so many good memories of the mid to late 90s! Its given me a kick in the butt to do my gc8!
Watching this video breaks my heart because it’s sold
I'm off sick from work and you guys are mighty car medicine, more trips and movies and content?👏👏👏👏
I love watching MCM and I love hearing Tuning Fork speak, it's really nice and I'm learning a bunch of things the forums don't teach.
Just watched this start to finish, and I loved it! Thanks MCM, you’re pretty special. 🙏😎
I've grown up with you guys (more or less). We are all getting some gray hairs it seems. But our hearts are still young in the cars we love. I still keep buying and modding but it has slowed down as of late. I need to get back out and enjoy garage time. Wonderful video!!!
I used to watch these guys when I was like 14. So glad to see they’re still making videos :’)
crazy too see how far you guys have come, i remember watching you guys filming out of your houses garage when i was in highschool. GREAT JOB GUYS!
I love this car. My first car was a 200SX in awful condition with the CA18DET and I always dreamed of a 180SX in good condition.
scotty from haltech is a Legend
you guys make this look so easy, and NOT time consuming at all.
I learnt alot from the "tuning fork" as well. Im 52 and its great info.
Thanks for stitching this epic story and build together. So good to revisit it and see the long version.
This hot wheels part just adds so much more to the story and makes it that much better lmfao
Man I bought an absolute rust bucket of an 180sx back when I was 18. Ended up selling it when I got rear ended. This was my dream build. I'll live my teenage dreams through this very project.
I'm a Nissan guy, I Moog's garage line up is my dream!!!!
You could say, the real 180sx was the friends we made on the way
I honestly loved the way it looked when you bought it and I love it even more with the stuff you’ve done with it as well as the stuff I learnt which is useful considering I start my apprentice technician job tomorrow!!
saw an og mcm video recently.. you guys are old af.... which means im old af... i love you guys
