Damn... That emotion from Mikhail when he couldn't lift that last stone from some sort of injury. Really sucks. He's such an amazing performer, even WITH injuries, but it'd be amazing to see him running on all cylinders - I know that's what he wants too. Pretty sure that poor guy has been limping around almost literally since late 2019.

Yeah but it also separates the best from the runners. Giving shivlyakov a free ticket is like giving a kid a trophy coming in 4th in the race. Love the guys here giving their all and hope to see them again next time around.

@@thomasjones4306, that’s not the same thing at all. That‘s like having a track and field competition, where one guy dominates all events but then loses the overall competition because the other guy can launch a javelin slightly further. Strongman shouldn’t be about the best stonelifter, but the best overall athlete. I liked the old stone off more where third place had to face 4th place first. You either let 2nd place qualify because he was consistently better than 3rd or you give 2nd place an advantage relative to his performance in comparison to 3rd. If 2nd and 3rd are tied on points, that’s the time you give them a 1v1 stone off.

Poor Mikhail, he deserved to be in finals

Show the full events. Get rid of the stone off if there are clear qualifiers and get this out before it’s a year old already.

UK version is much better, it shows more of comp than BTS

I don't like stone off, especially if there is quite the gap between 2nd and 3rd
