Also should have been 2nd, thor should have been disallowed 3 more reps but Magnus felt intimidated by thors presence so he gave him “ThE bEnEfIt Of ThE dOuBt” and only disallowed 1, documented fact..
This group is so loaded
Jeez 19 lifts on the stones should have given Belsak a honor in the finals
Can we all take a moment to realise how far Tom Stoltmen has come on 💪

It’s a lot better than the stupid stone-off where only 2nd 3rd face each other. Shiv and Novikov had massive leads over third place but lost because of the stone-off. At least this way, the more consistently amazing competitor gets an advantage and not the best stone lifter.
This is awesome but I wish we had ALL the WSM heats and finals on here.

I can't believe they made Belsak go against JF after he beat Woulfe.

And the guy next to you, while competing, calls you on it....
I just watched Kyriakos Grizzly pull a 700kg sled. the first event with the cart pull is one of the closest strongman events I could find to it. sure there are a few differences in the implement and surface but if he had competed in this I think he could have done very well.

In my opinion this was the toughest line up in strongman history.

It’s only getting harder. Currently there is no Hafthor, Zydrunas, Brian, Bill, Magnus, Jon Pall or Mariusz that is heads and shoulders above all others. You have a bunch of guys that are awfully close. Novikov, Singleton, the Stoltmans, Shaw, Mitchel, Caron, Janashia , Boudreaux,… Perhaps the return of Kieliszkowski will stir things around.
