He talks about such serious topics in such a relaxing way with relaxing music in the background and it makes it easier to have these convos I love it.

I would opt for the rod, from research I've read it is bendable. This leads me to think that it wouldn't cause much of a problem during exercise or wearing certain pants. The pump however could possibly have much more concern during exercise due to it being able to break and loads of activity could cause this. In a way the pump is like the rod, only it needs to be inflated where the rod is already semi hard and only needs a quick bend to go from hard to softand vice versa. This could also possibly help with peeing standing up if you have trouble keeping it straight and aiming while peeing.

you being so open about all your worries and the process here helps me out way more than I thought it would, by giving me a better idea of what I might be going through down the road with my own transition. I just wanted to thank you for sharing this with us and giving people like me that chance to see what might lie ahead while still in the early stages of transitioning!!

I loved watching and hearing your thoughts on this. These decisions are farther away for me personal but a bit relatable as I'm 75% I want RFF, but aesthetically ALT is tempting after I learned yesterday I could be a candidate for that type of phallo as well! How hard is it?

The hypersensitivity is going to suck when you tattoo it so I hope the surgery fixes that. I hope you don't have a stricture so you can get your implants in December. The fear of parts breaking is shitty for your anxiety but I am sure you will make the right decision for you. I cannot wait to get your cookbook!

Hi Cody, The type/style of underwear that you prefer now may not be the one you prefer post surgery. If you get the solid rods, you may want to wear tight-ish underwear but looser fitting pants/shorts. From the time I was 12 until the time I graduated high school, I had a 24/7 hard-on and I had to do just that. There are other designs with different benefits/drawbacks. Search the web and print out several of them and take them with you to see Dr. Chen. He may only do the 2 specific BRANDS that he has spoken to you about but he owes it to you to justify his rationale. Are you getting scar release along with the nerve release?

I honestly think that medical professionals could come up with better options, but there is absolutely no advocacy in the medical community for trans men, when it comes to anything bottom surgery related. Also I've heard several stories where guys with phallo said they were able to penetrate without a device, but I don't know.

Hey! So you have to be on hormones for at least a year I believe in order to have bottom surgery. I just had my primary care physician refer me to Dr. Chen. Then I set up a consult with him and then booked a surgery date.

Its totally your decision Cody but dont go into it afraid of failure of one device or another. Be positive 👍🏻 Also take into account the rod situation when you are elderly What I mean is this is for the rest of your life. Ive heard the testicle with the pump feels exactly like the other testicle and is sized to match. That sounds more natural to me somehow. But its your body and your decision. Are you able to talk to people who have been through it and had good results.? I had lens exchange surgery on my eyes (sorry different surgery but same quandry) I was very long sighted...now better than 20 20 😁 I saw someone moaning online that it had been three months and her vision was not perfect and she thought she had made a mistake...I wanted to be able to tell her it takes a full YEAR for the cornea to completely heal and vision to settle and its a fantasic surgery...sorry long winded but chatting to people who have been where you are may help you decide 👍🏻

Can you tell us more about if your knee surgery had any affect or put any delay on your bottom surgery because I recently injuried my acl and meniscus so I'll need surgery for that soon but I'm still working towards bottom surgery

Hi, This isn't exactly related to the topic of the video, I just wanted to comment on the most recent phalloplasty video possible. I was wondering about phallo recovery with dogs. I am pursuing phallo and have a fairly young and active dog. I'm wondering what your experience was like. Did someone else walk your dog during your recovery? If so, for how long/when were you able to walk your own dog again? Were either of your dogs the type to jump on you and, if so, how did you keep them from doing so? In general, is there anything you would suggest a dog owner do to prepare for phallo? Thanks

HI! So yes, it was really hard to care for my dog post phalloplasty as she is one to jump or generally just not be aware of of causing harm haha. I was at my parents house at this time so she spent more time out side in the yard with their dog. I am having surgery again at the end of this month and am a little nervous as she is not the most gentle and I don't have a yard now. I would recommend you have a friend watch your animals for at least your first week home.

Dominic_Umar there’s a higher risk of erosion with the rod vs the pump, but that’s mainly if you don’t have sensation so you can’t feel it shifting or if you’re getting kicked in the groin and whatnot haha they secure it pretty well to your pubic bone, so i haven’t heard of too many guys experiencing erosion with the rod

Here is my opinion as a competitor (I am a figure competitor). Since you are so active and if you have future goals to compete again I would make a judgement in relation to that. I.e. having a constant "boner" in your posing trucks on stage could be oddly humorous so the inflateable may be a better option for you.
