I appreciate these videos as a nurse practitioner because we didn’t learn any of this in school. UF BSN ‘92. FAU MSN ‘96. I appreciate your honesty about your confusion with your Christian walk. I’m glad to see you didn’t reject God, because he hasn’t rejected you! Thanks for your honesty & bravery.

Cody_talks some med schools are starting to educate people on trans health care. My niece recently graduated from nursing school and she learned some stuff in her last semester of school. She said she’s learning more in practice than she did in school. But I think that happens in any profession. But at least schools are starting to teach these things. Yes it’s slow and a long time coming. But it is happening.

You manage to relate such personal and delicate subjects in a way that is clear and, at the same time, very respectful toward yourself and to those of us that follow you. I hope only the best that life has to offer you comes your way. You deserve happiness and much peace. -Pam-

Congrats on Five months! From what I understand it takes about a year to get full sensation and the tingling is a very good thing because that's the nerves connecting. :D Dude you're just under the half way mark! It's all uphill from here!

Ok. Im almost 1 month post and just now got one 3 wks post..Seems like there should be another solution than 2 just let it heal by itself.. doesn't it seem like a simple stitch up or surgical glue would suffice. I been using medi honey . It's slowly working.. I guess or it could just be the time factor .

I'm 6 weeks post op top surgery today, and am trying to figure out if I'm supposed to deliberately stretch to get my reach back, or just wait for it to return on its own. I don't know what the hell I'm doing lol. Anyway, I'm really glad you aren't getting as much pain in that area now!

I've thought about phallo for a while, and I've always wanted the end result, but was wary of the methods to achieve it. Mostly what'd I'd found was pictures of arms that were still relatively fresh and heard about limited mobility, but having watched your progression and hearing your take it doesn't seem so daunting. Sure it's a big recovery and yes the scar is still big, but I'll still have a functional arm and finally what I'm supposed to have between my legs, so thank you for sharing so much with us. It's helped a lot.

i’m the same in terms of my right side having sensation and not my left - i heard it’s because the main nerve they take is located on the right side of your pre op junk (it has a name but i can’t remember it) and so the first part to get feeling is usually the right and then it spreads... the left side is just further away from the beginning of the nerve, and the left nerve in your pre op junk isn’t touched during surgery

  • @avantgarde93

also which ED are you looking into? i’m in the same boat... i’m frustrated w the fact that there are really not many options to make me able to penetrate sooo the ED seems like one of my only choices but i’m so nervous bc there aren’t ones specifically for us

  • @Codytalks11

+Alex G interesting thanks for the info! As for the ED I was thinking the inflatable... I wish there were better options. Have you tried the elator? It’s so damn expensive.

  • @avantgarde93

    @avantgarde93

    6 жыл бұрын

Same, I really like the inflatable I'm just so worried about complications or having to have emergency surgery to get it removed, etc. It's more scary than stage 1. I don't have the elator bc of its cost lol but I did get the stays-hard device and it doesn't fit (it was only like $65 and the same concept, you just don't get like a custom one)... the length was perfect but the rings to put around the tip and base are WAY too small... they even look too small for cis-dudes. And the material isn't a stretchy rubber so like idk who's supposed to be able to use it?? lol

  • @Codytalks11

if it's Nash - he asked about it when I first got it back in August and I told him the issues I have w/ it and he asked what size I got the other day haha. I just don't understand why the material isn't stretchier - then it would be able to fit around more sizes. I kid you not when I say it's REALLY small.... like it must be for a really skinny dick??

Congratulations on 5 months! You have no idea how helpful (although it seems awkward for you it seems to speak on certain things, but you still do it and thanks for that) so happy that things are getting better in terms of getting back in to the work routine and being more comfortable using the urinal. You have a winning spirit, never give up! I have so many questions, but feel a little leery about asking here. I have a consultation with Dr. Chen in December. I noticed you mentioned in one of the videos I saw of yours, that you have Blue Shield. I have Blue Cross Blue Shield, so I guess I'm wondering how much you paid out of pocket and how much your insurance covered, but that may too personal (lol). Also, I'm wondering how it works with hair removal in the donor area and it that's covered by insurance? Thanks so much for the informative videos you take your precious time making to help others like myself:) Take care of you.

One suggestion to your doctor (without wanting to cause any offence, I am not a doctor, it's only a suggestion) Try to stretch the skin with saline balloons, it's been used in other surgeries and it works, I just think the type of scar I leaves can act like a target or a brand for future prejudice...and the all process is already hard, maybe it would be nice to consider a better solution for the skin grafts, but nevertheless it is an impressive job, all the best for the future and maybe work a bit on your voice (again...just a bloke to a bloke opinion)

I did! And yes I am looking into the inflatable as I feel the semi-rigid might not be the best for me in particular although having it last longer is appealing haha.

I'm glad you survived your first week back to work. I'm wondering on the ED if it needs to be replaced 5ish years later if the replacement can be done by regular doctor or if you need to go back to dr chen for replacement? It's good to hear you're going slow with getting back to normal in the gym. The tips you gave on dealing with hand swelling are very helpful!

That is a good question.. I have a feeling I would have to return back to Dr.Chen for the replacement... or that is who I would trust the most at least. Something I can ask him!

They skin the hell out of your arm. Will that heal more? It’s a shame they can’t take the skin from the back of the thigh or something.

Your sister from another mister they can take it from many other places but the arm is usually the best option because it offers the most sensation and also there is an extra nerve they can use in your forearm

+The Sneezing Sniffler yea he had his stage one awhile ago but he just recently had his urethral re-hookup. I’m also only almost 3 years on T so there is not much tip wise anyone can do to help my beard growth. Also I know him :) we are for a pee collab.
