Man I’ve been through the same stuff I got in a atv crash and I broke my wrist clean in half and hand a compound fracture in the middle of my arm I had 8 surgery’s in two weeks and had a skin graft it used to scare the crap out of me to clean it and I used to hate for people to see it but that was so stupid of me scares tell your story and now I’m proud as hell to have it I hope you have a great recovery

Then stfu because medicine and science proved that the brain of a transgender person is wayyy more similar to the brain of the gender they want to transition to than to the brain of their birth sex. It's like someone swapped your brain with someone from the opposite gender. They also proved that the only cure for gender disphoria is to transition, which is what this doctor is doing. So do some research before you say some stupid shit.

Hi Cody, I came across your story on KZread and ended up watching about 6 hours of your story that day. I admire your honesty and your openness as a man! I think I behind and need to catch-up. An observation in the beginning or your reassignment you always referred to it as a phallus and after several vlogs it became a penis and to me that was a happy moment. I know your pain man I've had the same bandages in my arm along with the vacuum stimulator on both arms stay strong it's a long healing process.

the way the Doc pulled your skin away from the skin graft when removing that tape thing made me cringe...I can't even imagine how painful that must have been...makes me run away

Sometimes it's better to just get it over with because some patients will tap out or even pass out from pain. From what I hear as well it's less painful just ripping it rather than peeling

I know when I got out of surgery when I broke my wrist I had a 7 inch cut on my arm that I still have to this day, I was scared. But mine isn’t bad as yours but I’ll be praying for you man so you can heal as much as possible :)

I don’t typically comment on KZread videos but I’m super duper happy you found comfort with your identity and were able to transition into it. ❤️ I’m not trans myself but having many trans friends and seeing them finally feel comfortable and confident in themselves by changing up the way they dress/cutting their hair differently/getting on T makes me happy and I hope one day they’re able to make the changes they want to feel more comfortable in their own skin.

I'm so back and forth on whether I want phalloplasty. I have a lot of bottom dysphoria, but I have kind of a thing about scars. If I can't tattoo over the scar once it's healed up, I dunno if I could do it.

IDK how I came across your video but I'm glad I did. 1st I have to say your arm looks great. I don't know your whole story yet cuz this is the first video I came across. But I had skin graft in my wrist back in 1972 I was 10 yrs old when I fell off a swing and my bone popped out of my skin. I was very lucky that they saved my hand, due to infection and stuff. Back then medicine wasn't like it is today. So I had to have my wrist sown to my side of my waist for 2 week's and being 10yrs old it was hard to do. But my wrist is crooked due to so many surgeries and cast after cast. I had a cast on for 6 months. Then braces etc etc. Yes I went threw alot. 9 surgeries total. I hate the way mine looks. I wish mine looked as half as nice as yours. I look forward to seeing your videos to find out more. New sub here for life.. take care 👍

Cody! Somehow your dr mentioning put your arms in the air brought me to "Word Up" XD. But anyways just wanted to give you a HUGE thanks for your recommendation for talking to Dr. Chen for my stricture. He was super thorough, the consultation was available by phone. Their billing department has been super fast about insurance stuff and I'm scheduled for surgery with him October 4th. I cannot thank you enough for the recommendation! Thank you! Id really love to see phalloplasty surgery be revamped somehow. Currently it leaves such a large scar from the skin graft and the penis itself from what I've seen doesn't look as natural as many vaginoplasty counterparts. Hopefully in some years with new technology and procedures phalloplasties will be more realistic and leave less scarring

Newspaper 101 most commonly a phalloplasty is a surgery to construct a penis, like in the case of this video. A skin graft is taken from the arm or torso to creat the shaft and head of the penis and the urethra is redirected into the new penis so that it's basically a fully functioning and regular penis. It's pretty rad

Damn, I’d probably panic seeing my arm like that, and probably ask a bunch of questions like “Is this normal, am I gonna be ok, am I gonna lose my arm??” Hope your arm gets better!

I want a phalloplasty but the thought of any part of my body being so scarred makes me uncomfortable. I guess it's self-esteem but I don't want people staring at me. I don't know, it's hard to explain. I have every intention of getting bottom surgery but the donor sites gross me out, I think I'm gonna do the side/back one

Yo! Luckily there are options of donor sites, however there are things to consider when choosing one. I went for the arm because the sensation is better considering the nerve is a sensory nerve whereas the side/back nerve is a motor nerve and the sensation may not be so good. It all depends on preference, when the time comes I am sure you will decide what is right for you!

The Young Advocate this is really normal to feel that and squirmish of getting my breasts removed even. All I want is an operation that will just take out my female parts pretty much. But gettin that. Skin relocated doesn't mean the other area will heal it will never look the same again but you can get some killer tattoos!

II'm really hesitant to get bottom surgery because your arm post op (which looks great btw) is as thin as my arm is currently, so I am really worried about how tiny and thin my already tiny arms will be.

I've thought about that, and I definitely may go that way, although it seems that using that site produces a much thicker penis than I'd generally like, but I will probably end up doing ALT. My former comment was more of me getting my thoughts out if that makes any sense? Again, thank you and good luck with your recovery!

it doesnt necessarily need to come from the arm, it can come from the leg as well , and possible other places but i dont know much about it tbh.

It really looks good I am impressed. How does your arm feel? I have thought been thinking now it would be great but first top surgery is a must asap. I just had my gender changed officially so its all in the works. Your post are very inspiring. I look forward to your videos. Wishing a quick recovery

Thanks! My arm feels much better now but it throbbed like crazy for awhile. It is still probably the most painful part of this surgery to me. Congrats on the gender change!

Ouch... The closest experience I have to this is my chest surgery and having to get the cadaver material grafts. It was so weird knowing they were putting that in my body. Hope you healed well!

This is an incredibly intimate and personal thing you've shown us -- not many people would have the courage to do so. Thank you for using this opportunity to educate others
