Frisby Lakes Part three- Carp Fishing

It was around July 2013 when a fella named Chris Angell got in touch with me. He worked for Shimano at the time and was kind enough to send me some items of tackle, many of which I still use today.
Fast forward to 2016 and Chris is now managing Frisby lakes in Leicestershire ( / frisbylakescarp .
Since we had kept in touch i felt it was a good opportunity to not only go and see this beneficiary of mine but also to fish his lake!
So now it's August 2017, four years on and i have started to visit Chris's fishery on a regular weekly basis. To showcase his beautiful lake, to fish it! and of course to return the favour from 2013.

I think I've watched every one of your videos at least twice Steve..love 'em. You always seem a little surprised when the weather forecast is wrong...it's almost always wrong mate. I checked THREE forecasts this morning for work...all three got it wrong! And as your obviously a Trekker...'Live long and prosper (and catch fish)' :-)

Nice video mate,thats not far from me,had a look around a couple of years ago,but its bloody huge which put me off at the time.

always do as long as it's treat and i have to say after that session i needed it
36 hrs of rain, nothing unusual in Leicestershire. We recently had a 26 hr shower in Norfolk in June... British weather what can you do...lol
