Frisby Lakes Part five - Carp Fishing

Спорт

It was around July 2013 when a fella named Chris Angell got in touch with me. He worked for Shimano at the time and was kind enough to send me some items of tackle, many of which I still use today.
Fast forward to 2016 and Chris is now managing Frisby lakes in Leicestershire ( / frisbylakescarp .
Since we had kept in touch i felt it was a good opportunity to not only go and see this beneficiary of mine but also to fish his lake!
So now it's August 2017, four years on and i have started to visit Chris's fishery on a regular weekly basis. To showcase his beautiful lake, to fish it! and of course to return the favour from 2013.

As always thank you from the masses for taking the time to post your resent adventures, shame about not catching, but there's nothing you can do when they are preoccupied on naturals, keep up the hard work and look forward to your next instalment

I do enjoy watching your blogs Steve!!. Will be looking into buying some of your bait for when summer comes. I'm surprised you haven't tried a zig if there is plenty of natural hatch in the swim. Looking forward to the next blog mate. Merry xmas and have a great new year.

Been following your videos from day one Steve....but the best one is where you have the rod in the reeds and you explain how you just got done over and you say how the carp was shaking it's head and bang your rod goes off.....brilliant just brilliant

I’d love to see a few tackle videos Steve. The rods and reels you’ve had over the years, all aspects of tackle and what you’ve learned over the years.

Very enjoyable again Steve its like being there in the peace and quiet great to have a fishing vid without loud music (which I love in the right context) Are you a hobbit 1st and second breakfasts? Noticed you CAA badge bet most people have no idea what that is.
