Hi where would you say is the best place to fish on the river cam
How’s it fishing these days? Thinking about booking a 72hr session somewhere local ‘ish’ to Cambridge and cannot make my mind up where to go
I think it's got a little bit harder than it was because it's become a lot more popular I myself haven't fished it for a while.
One of the best fishing moments I've seen on video ... fantastic still to this day from seeing it the first time many years ago Steve 😂
I’m loving rewatching these 👌
Absolutely love the uploads
A breath of fresh air, thankyou. 😃
Bạn quá tuyệt vời ❤

@@TheCarpCatcher top man. We may be 30 years apart but we are cut from the same cloth 👍 best wishes
I have watched this series before like all your other videos Steve, it's great to rewatch Red House, stunning old 20 💯💯💯👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Yes! He’s back!
Where on the Ebro is that? I'm going next month and haven't a clue where to start
Tossals d'Almatret
@@TheCarpCatcher is there still a 2 rod rule?
@@greatbongo33 no idea
Kitchen? lol, looks like the most amazing home boilie factory!
wow..congrats for this video full of gold information!! I see that nobody ask that, but how if I want to make the boilies soluble? I have to replace the egg with corn syrup but what amount?
Should be soluble but if you want to make them more soluble than you need to use water soluble binders like whey gel instead of eggs. Do it in test batches like the film to get it right. Remember your recipe needs to allow you to roll quantities easily.
good recipe. you could add milk powder to it. then the boilies work better. and also try working with attractors. I'll try your recipes :)
Who owns the lake now
Hello from the USA! I'm trying to find a recipe idea for a mussel based boilie. The mussels here are hard to harvest so I was thinking that maybe canned claims or oysters would be a good substitute. How do you suggest this type of wet paste ingredient is used or measured? Would you use a fishmeal base or a milk one for the flavor to bleed out better?
I wouldn't bother using them, I'd use something else instead that I know I can catch the fish, that's much easier to use and make baits with. Keep it simple, carp aren't food connoisseurs.
Hi Steve ! Been watching your vids for years, what was that camera app you used, voice activated one? Struggling to find the episode
Sensory voice selfie
This is really useful, cheers 👍
Glad it was helpful!
Love this video and all of them on the river cam
And then you look away and your vision is going back the other way! 😂👍
🍺🍺🍺🍺
You are living my dream 🙂🙂
Got to love the great outdoors Steve 🌲🌻🐦🐦🐦👍
You got that right!
If fish can see hooks, how can a ronnie with a size 4 work.
A carps vision doesn't allow it to view anything a few inches in front of its nose, that's why it does everything by feel. Obviously what the carp can see depends on how the fish approaches the rig end of course how large the fish is and how much it needs to tip down.
Wouldn’t we all love to be back to 2011 ……. The fishing was better as well, can’t beat the rivers what ever the species
Brilliant Fair play to you Proper wild carp fishing That’s worth any fish from a lake
It's great to watch these again Steve, another top session on the river 🎣🎣👍
Shes grown a fair bit since then! Was caught Sep last year at just over 46lb mate. And that inlet where the roach shoal up has done multiple 4lb and a 5lb perch.
Was she actually caught again ?
I loved this river cam section, what with what you had to put up with. Nice one Steve
Thanks 👍
Epic Steve, what a catch absolutely stunning 💯💯💯💯👍
Many thanks!
Wel weer luek die Ouwe films trug te zien

🍺🍺👍🍺🍺
How times flies…epic carp and captures Steve!
Well in Steve, nice to watch it again
lovely memories.My favourite series.
Tom legge had the very same fish at Magdalene Bridge.
Yes I know he sent me a picture, Tom got in touch with me when I first caught bullseye and filled me in on all the information but I didn't know he called it from the bridge.
Omg so reminiscent amazing best real angler on you tube and that’s never changed
Watched this wen you originally posted it amazing
How you caught it in the time that you caught it will go down in history honestly who cares about a 400 pounder this is true fishing
Хорошее видео Стив
Just about to move to the Fens, done all my fishing in the Thames Valley. These reruns and the recent series are really whetting my appetite for getting the rods back out once we are settled.
Absolutely loads of fishing round here, have fun and be lucky.
Nice moment man 👌😉
Thanks ✌
Great vids..but seen them all..no new stuff..sad.
I've just done a new 10 episode series.
Really enjoyed this series and whilst we can all look at the back catalogue, this feels as fresh as they first time. Thanks for the memories Steve.
Loved this series it's what got me getting the rods back out would love a remake all these years on see if there still there and what there like now
Hi Steve, a legendary catch and series. Any chance we ever see a River Cam Carp Quest reloaded, i.e. 2024? Would be super super amazing.
never say never eh
@@TheCarpCatcherMy god, that would be amazing. Fingers crossed you’ll find some time one day.
