Frisby Lakes Part one - Carp Fishing
Спорт
It was around July 2013 when a fella named Chris Angell got in touch with me. He worked for Shimano at the time and was kind enough to send me some items of tackle, many of which I still use today.
Fast forward to 2016 and Chris is now managing Frisby lakes in Leicestershire ( / frisbylakescarp .
Since we had kept in touch i felt it was a good opportunity to not only go and see this beneficiary of mine but also to fish his lake!
So now it's August 2017, four years on and i have started to visit Chris's fishery on a regular weekly basis. To showcase his beautiful lake, to fish it! and of course to return the favour from 2013.

another great video Steve. ..good to see you back on the bank..I've just had the same problem as you with super sharp hooks that I honed...I've had 4 fish now bump off and on checking the point it's been turned over ...thinking same as you that you can over sharpen them ....
Great video Steve, really enjoyed it, seeing you use a knotless knot and a hair and nothing else just hits home to me to keep things nice and basic can be key. I find myself getting caught up with micro ring swivels etc, when sometimes you just dont need them, cheers mate
have you ever made a bad video as if you have ive never seen it, thanks 4 taking the time to make em. i watch these when sweet f a on tele which is every day.

Wocha top angler. Modern day passion for angling
Tight lines :)
Steve... Why the boilies made that way? Stop nuisance fish? is it good for the carps digestive system? Mikey
@TheCarpCatcher
6 жыл бұрын
Milk Proteins are different in the way the boilie turns out plus they are way better for the carp. Yes small fish cannot nibble them away as easily. Milk proteins are also much better over silty areas. This bait (Vanilla Spice) is one i first made in 1983, it's that good!
What is that treatment liquid called Please, can't remember and need some more!!!

possibly ;-)
How dose this bait compare to your k-lo as it has done nothing for me as of yet i do fish a hard water so I'm not blaming anything
@TheCarpCatcher
6 жыл бұрын
k-lo is a fishmeal, this is a milk protein so very different. Much better over silt than a fishmeal and no one uses them anymore... well not as expensive as this stuff.
When's the video happening bro .... u said at the end of this month and it is the end of the month
