No he's wrong. He should be able to trust his girlfriend no matter what happened to him in the past. If he keeps thinking every woman he loves is a lesbian, he'll never have a relationship. In fact, Emily would break up with him if she knew he was accusing her of being gay when she isn't

Before Carol came out to Ross, he didn't have even the slightest thought that Carol could be gay, right?! So, now it's very hard for him to trust anyone with Susan😂...he's just being honest here...anyone would have these thoughts & be insecure, even if they trust their partner 🤷🏻

@@nadimabbas4093 Not necessarily. It's foolish to always trust people, look what happened with Carol. If you think you're being cheated on, you need to break up, it's not a healthy relationship if one person is paranoid they're being cheated on their whole lives. They need to find another partner they can trust most easily, or stay single. Being single is actually a lot better in many ways.

Carol : I can't speak for Emily, but Susan is in a loving, committed relationship. Ross : Carol, so were we. Notice that Carol had no response to that. Of course not. She would either have to say that her marriage to Ross wasn't a loving, committed relationship, or Carol would have to admit that being in a loving, committed relationship won't always stop somebody from cheating. After all, it didn't stop Carol. When I first saw this episode, I was amazed that Carol had the nerve to criticize Ross for not trusting his girlfriend, when the whole reason for his paranoia was that Carol cheated on him during their marriage.

Ross really should have gone to therapy after this conversation, worked out those issues.

The "AM I?!" Comment 😂 then the "innocent touch...theres electricity...its new....its exciting" and how intently he looks to her for validation of his paranoia. Its peak 90s/early 2000s comedy. Probably wouldnt be made nowadays (at least not as comedy) as it would be seen as too toxic 😆
