I think people get lost in the fact that he was one of the greatest vocalists in rock, they forget the fact that he seems like a really decent, down to earth person with a genuine passion for life, and zero ego.

Freddie was such a wonderful person. He was so extremely talented and always so authentic. He often looked like a little boy having fun and enjoying being here on this earth. It's sad that he lived such a short life, but he lived it so intensely with whole his body and his soul. R.I.P., beautiful Farookh Bulsara! We will always love you!

That concert was easily one of the most important concert of the second half of the 20th century. It was fitting that an awesome band like Queen was one of the first Western bands to hold a concert at the other side of the Iron Curtain. The concert was a sign of new times to come.

It's an old Hungarian folk song. I'll provide lyrics translation: Spring wind pours water, my flower, my flower Each bird chooses a partner, my flower, my flower. Who should I choose? My flower, my flower? I choose you and you choose me, my flower, my flower. (Note: My flower is an expression similar to darling in english.)

Ah. It's almost bittersweet to watch these. Those vocals! Just amazing! His sassy charm... Just love Queen! Wish I was a tad older... Was only 12 when he passed away. Unfortunately, because Queen was not big here (usa) I really only knew a couple of thier hits. Then Waynes World came, and my love for Bohemian Rhapsody turned into buying there greatest hits which in turn began my love affair with Freddie. So not fair. - Mary Austin seemed like such a devoted dear friend. She was with him before and after his success and then throughout his demise. I'm glad Freddie had her.

Mary and Freddie sharing a special moment. Mary approvingly smiles at Freddie as he sings in Hungarian, and Freddie can't seem to concentrate on the song anymore. There was definitely still something going on between these two loves, and I believe it continued for both Freddie and Mary until the end. The song Love of My Life sums it all up! Freddie knew he could never find that kind of love in any of his other relationships. I'm so happy that Freddie experienced real love.

I agree, I love the way Mary stands by his side as always. I hate to hear the negative press about her stealing away Freddie's riches, etc. He loved her, she loved him, who cares about anything else? Yes, he had men and she had children by other men, but I believe Freddie and Mary were soul mates on some level and thus the reason for him leaving Mary his estate despite her unwillingness. Rest in peace Freddie.
