He told Reinhold Mack many times that he was thinking of eventually getting married and having a family. He was bisexual, as he said in various ways over the years. Mack was convinced he would from the conversations they had. Not long after he was diagnosed with HIV. He also said it in an interview with David Wigg. He would have been a loving, attentive father.

Watching this footage sincerely breaks my heart... he was a true afable human being. Anyone could notice that just by looking into his eyes ;(

So sad when you consider this would be Freddie's last Christmas before his tragic passing. The world is definitely a sadder and less colorful place without him, but at least we still have the music to hold on to. God bless you Freddie, and hope to see you on the other side.

I like the fact that Freddie still had an upbeat attitude even when he was severly ill.

The saddest part of this being his last Christmas is that before he died he actually created a Christmas list for all of his friends. Elton John was a friend of his and he cried when he received his gift from Freddie which was a painting.

The kid probably has no memory of his "brush with greatness". I was never a fan of most Rock & Roll music from thaat era but Queen's music was different. The album "A Kind of Magic" is the only album I knew every word from every song from. It is my favorite album of all time to this day. Freddie was a great performer and it's really nice to see a canded moment like this to help us realize that he was human, just like the rest of us, as well. I really miss his music!!!

I wish I was Freddie Mercury's kid and he was still alive😭😢♥️

KAWAII !!! A very good smile. Probably his mother photographs a son. Therefore the baby laughs for joy. Freddie laughs, too.

Thanks to this video I can get an insight at the life of my biggest idol and inspiration in music. As long as is not showing very intimate situations that could damage Freddie's imagine, I think it's positive to have more videos like this posted on youtube. I love you Freddie!

This IS Freddie. Did you know that he helped to name Mary's son, who's named Richard and Freddie actually taught him his first words which were Tractor and Guitar. I honestly think he would have been an amazing father, I don't know why, but I see him having a daughter more than a son. Either way it would've been nice if he had a child or some children with Mary, so then his legacy would be carried on. I love the part where Freddie hugs him aww. I always wonder if he hadn't have gotten famous maybe he would've been straight and perhaps married and had kids to Mary..

sunkissed748 No don’t think that’s it. He wanted the video to be about Richard not him. Cos I think from memory this was his first Christmas. In the video he tells asks the video person if they’re taping Richard. Which tells me he wanted the video to be focussed on him. It could’ve been part of the reason. But I think he just didn’t feel it fair that he be in the spotlight when the video wasn’t about him.

awh bless although Freddie was near the end of time this new lease of life, the baby gave him happiness although he , Freddie was in horrible pain the baby brightened up his mood, he probably even forgot about the pain for a while, Baby's 1st Christmas and poor Freddie's last, how ironic, for just 1 more time i would love Freddie to come back to show the world how Stadium, live performing should be done at its best because Freddie was and always will be the best performer in the world xxxx
