My two favorite cops, almost NEVER in a scene alone together. It was rare to see either of these particular entities so relaxed and vulnerable, but this was the genius and rare beauty of HOMICIDE.

i think Kellerman was the most interesting character.. but i loved Kay - the very plucky underdog who i think became less interesting when she got her stripes.. and then very fond of Beau Felton - the foil for everyone else but most especially good when paired with Pembleton..

An odd little scene but proof positive of why this series was great -- it played out, realistically, and from the start, the way different personalities work together On the Job.

I love the way Howard’s demeanor changes and you see a flash of her sexuality for maybe the only time in the show.. Great scene..
