Unfortunately the Olympic medal was for the under-23 team, and not for the main team so don't get carried away😞. And as far as "carrying", he didn't carry nobody, in the World Cup he scored in the group stage and only in the group stage after that he did nothing else. This is a Captain who can't even motivate his teammates, CR7 got injured in Euro finals, yet he did more to motivate his teammates than messi did while on the the pitch😄. He's lost 4 major finals for Argentina (3 in a row as Captain), and listen Maradona said it best himself "Messi has no personality. He lacks the character to be a leader"😉. The only reason you could argue Ronaldo is more complete is that he's taller, so has advantage in the air, but that's about it. They're both rubbish at defending, but Messi can be a playmaker. Ronaldo can't.

Hanif Ali I'm not replying because I'm a CR7 fan, I am a M10 fan aswell, but Ronaldo really is a complete player, he only can't defend, Messi also can't, but Ronaldo has more strength, can pass the ball and assist goals, can score ridiculous goals and much more. As a football fan, my greatest 11 would be: BR Ronaldo CRonaldo Zidane Messi Xavi Makelele Roberto Carlos Puyol Cannavaro Cafu Neuer Greats like Maradona, Pele and Laudrup played before I started watching the beautiful game so I've never seen what they could do. The Brazil national team of 2002 was a joy to watch, along with the Barca of 2009/10. Would have chosen Buffon for his years of excellence and shot-stopping skills but I really believe Neuer can be one of football's most complete keepers in the years to come.
