This is my first time coming in contact with your podcast Fr. I joined the Legion Of Mary 60yrs ago when I was 18. In no time at all I was heavily involved. 4 nights a week. It taught me so much and gave me so much insight into Our Lady, Mother of Jesus and us all. Also the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives and Church. I attended 1 perhaps 2 of his talks. He was quite old at the time and hard of hearing. He signed my legion book, which I have since lost. Many Marriage came from the Legion. It was all young people at the time. Thank you Fr. Dear Father, good homily, really must have researched a lot, to give us such insights into this topic, Legions of Mary, through all the poverty and wars, people still kept the faith and there was happiness, now the faith is in the decline, can see the Churches empty for Sunday mass but the stadiums overflowing to capacity during a Celtic & Rangers match.
Frank duff, pray for us. Joined as a auxiliary member last year and say the prayers evey night for the active members. Please God I will become a active member soon

Was at Frank Duff's funeral, I still have the Mass leaflet somewhere, came across it when I was rooting for something. Definitely a Saint. Thanks Father👍🏻

That’s awesome 👏 my father saw him on a street in Dublin after he married my mother, he had him autograph the only paper he had on him, their marriage certificate! Possible 2nd class relic!!
I look forward to your talks, Father. I am always enlightened in some way. My Father was a Legion of Mary member in his later years, and I appreciated learning more about this wonderful man; and a bit nostalgic for my Father. Sadly, there were no young people in the group but I have hope and I pray that the Legion's charism spreads like wildfire!

My dad and mam were very involved in the Legion. I went to Frank Duff's funeral. I was 10 I think. It was the first time I had ever seen a dead person.
It’s a very highly focused spiritual outreach with Mary in the power of the Holy Spirit. It works.
I'm in the Legion of Mary and we are always looking for new members. Look at your local parish and see if there is a Presidium (local group) near you.
That was truly brilliant father. Will you be continuing the one to one interviews. I really hope so as they are very enlightening and inspiring.
