You made it look easy (WITH the proper tools) I ought to do mine. They are looking very faded. It's a O.O. 93 5.0 5-speed LX Hatchback Calypso Green.) When you going to tackle the doors. ;)

@blackhat4968 This job wasn’t actually that bad, it just requires some patience and because this car was so dirty I spent quite a bit of clay bar time in the areas around the trim. The parts are inexpensive, and the result is a car that looks WAY better. I have actually finished the job, and there are some looks at it on my Instagram @tecmotiondyno if you want to stay up to the minute, but I am way behind editing video. I expect to have a new installment in this restoration series shortly though - hopefully this weekend - so stay tuned.

Do you know if there are any drain holes inside the cowl? I'm getting water on my passenger side in the kick panel (my hearer core is bypassed) and I think it's coming in from the cowl. I recently vacuumed up a bunch of leaves from in there but was unable to see any drain lines or holes.

@Scrapla1 You know, I am almost certain that there are drain holes in the front outside corners of the cowl, but before answering I wanted to lay eyes on them myself. I have a project car with no cowl panel and I vacuumed all the leaves out of it and even used an inspection camera to try to see them and just could not see them because there was still some debris up in the corners and it is a very tough spot to get to with a vacuum. So, like I said, I am pretty sure they are there, I just can't certify it 100% for you.

There is nothing wrong with Autolite 25 on a stock type 5.0 with E7 heads. I usually use NGK but there is nothing wrong with Autolite, and that is the right plug in the Autolite series.

If you need vent gauge pods or a small cap distributor adapter I have an Etsy store with those kind of parts. You are the first guy to ask me about merch, so maybe this channel is starting to get big enough to consider it. Thanks for watching!

That’s an honour if I was the first guy to enquire….your channel is amazing, tecmotion Decal would be sweet people see that on peoples cars they want to know who that is. I got a quick question on a fairly stock set up. What plugs would you run with 100 Shot nitrous? I have I have a340 in tank and an external T. rex fuel is not an issue and what timing would you run? I want this car that I have to be a nitrous car Thanks for your channel number one in my book.

If we are talking pushrod Ford with aluminum heads here, probably 6 series NGK like BKR-6EY, and as a rule of thumb retard one degree for each 25HP of nitrous shot from your best NA timing setup, so let’s say 25 or 26 degrees timing for a 100 shot. If you run a cheater style system you will basically never get an even nitrous distribution so erring on the side of a little more fuel in your main tune up and a degree or two less timing is a realistic safety measure. I do have a few stickers for in-shop customers. If you dm me on Instagram @tecmotiondyno with an address I can probably mail you one.
